I wake up, and see Selena has already taken Nevaya to school, because she is sleeping and Nevaya is gone. I yawn, then get up. I stumble down the stairs, and open the fridge and make some pancakes and bacon. I grab a pan, a bowl, and the ingredients for the batter. I feel arms wrap around me. "Mm hey." she mumbles. "You need to go back to sleep." I say, laughing. "Whaaaat! No I don't." She says, forcing her eyes open. "C'mon." I say, lifting her up. I place her on the bed and tuck her in. I peck her lips, then go finish the pancakes. I cook the bacon, then throw some eggs on. I munch on my breakfast, only stopping to sip some orange juice. I hear little feet come down the stairs. "Daddy!" I hear Nevaya say. "Now, why aren't you at school?" I ask her, lifting her up. "I played hookie. DUH." She says, rolling her hazel eyes. "Your just like your mother." I say, laughing.
She gets up, and fixes herself a plate, then comes sit down on my lap to eat. "Daddy when is mommy waking up." I shrug my shoulders, and we finish our food in silence.
