Chapter 1.
"You can't run from me forever (Y_N)! I will find you.. And when I do.. You'll Go To Sleep.. Just like everyone else.."
A calm, yet raspy voice called out to you, causing the hairs on the back of your neck to stand on end. Having no memory on just how in the hell you ended up chained loosely to a tall, dark evergreen tree, your instincts told you to stay completely still and pray to the God you don't believe in to help you.
Though your silent begging and nagging fell on deaf ears. 'Come on (Y_N).. Think.. How the fuck are you supposed to get out of her-'
Your thoughts were cut short when the unmistakable sound of footsteps trudging over the leaf-covered forest floor bed. Frantically, you started to wriggle around, the cool metal of the rusted chains rubbing against your exposed arms and stomach.
Several nerve-wrecking seconds later you manage to worm yourself out beneath the chains, seeing as the chains weren't wrapped around you too tightly. 'Odd.. It's as if this person wants me free...' You thought to yourself, then gazing around with half lidded, (E_C) eyes.
"Haha.. Found you~"
The same voice from before whispered quietly into your ear. From what you'd guess, it appeared to be a man, what with his voice being as deep as it was. A terrified shriek escaped your soft, cherry red lips as a pair of steady, strong arms gently enveloped themselves around your torso, pulling you back and into the unknown mans chest.
With wide eyes, you spun around at a leisurely pace, screaming in both fear and disgust at what you saw..

"Naah!!~"
You gasped, jostling up and frightfully gazing around your dark, musty bedroom. Cool beads of sweat rolled down your (S_C) forehead, a lengthy sigh emitting from your dry, hoarse throat. Rubbing the back of your aching neck, a small smile graced your lips when you realised it was just a dream.. Well, more of a nightmare.
Picking up your phone from your bedside table, you checked for the time, seeing that is was 9:26am. 'Damn (Y_N).. You're gunna be late for work..' (( By the way, in this story, your 19.. Kay? xDD )) You scolded yourself for sleeping in a half hour, for you usually left for work at 10:00 o'clock sharp.
Before you could react, you felt your device buzz in you hand. Looking down at it, you saw that one of your work colleagues, Lilliath, had sent you a message.
Lilliath: Hey (Y_N)!! Sorry for the sudden text! But I just wanted to tell you that we don't have any work today!! Text me when you get this!!~ xxx
With a slanted eyebrow, you send a message back to her.
You: Work? Cancelled? Hah, that's funny Lil, but seriously, is it cancelled today or.. No..?
Lilliath: Yes, it hash been cancelled (Y_N) -w-
You: But.. Why...?! <.>
Lilliath: The boss was found dead in his office this morning.. No one knows what the fudge happened to that man..
You: What the hell..? So he's.. Dead..?!
Lilliath: Yes.. (Y_N_N), He's dead. :\
You: Why don't we go out for lunch and you tell me all you know about what happened to him.. Yeh? That sound okay..?
Lilliath: Sure :3 Catch you at the coffee shop near work!! Tootaloo love!!~ xxx
Smiling then, you swing your legs over the edge of the bed, pushing several strands of your shiny (H_C) hair out of your face and behind your ear, rising onto your cool, bare feet and towards your closet, preparing yourself for the day.
