Chapter 2️⃣6️⃣

"Good Morning sleeping beauty." I hear a voice call out, as I sat up in bed.

I see Jacob coming near me with a tray of breakfast.

"I got you breakfast in bed, enjoy." He smiles as he sets it down & kisses my cheek.

"Aw thank you babe." I said admiringly how nicely put together the dish was, two pancakes, a few slices of bacon, eggs, & a glass of orange juice.

I began to eat as Jacob lays next to me, scrolling threw channels with the remote.

"Today is all about us, I want us to forget about all our problems & relax." He says.

I nod.

"So what exactly are we doing today?" I question as I pick up a slice a bacon and toss it into my mouth.

"Well... you see... Arizona has along canyons right..." he began,

I furrowed my eyebrows, I didn't like where this was going.

"Uh huh, go on..." I said eating more of my food.

"I was thinking we could go out to the cayons..."

"Aw that would be such a cute date."

"And go bungee jumping off one of them."

I spit out my orange juice.

"Jacob are you crazy ?!"

"No, I'm Jacob." He joked as he laughed, seeing orange juice all over my chin.

I glared at him.

"I'm not risking my life jumping off of a cliff." I told him.

"Oh come on, you know how secure it's gonna be, it'll be funnn." He says, while grabbing a napkin and wiping my chin.

I wasn't so sure about this.

"You love me don't you ?" He asked playfully.

"Oh don't pull that card." I giggle as I slap his arm.

"Sooo... what do you say?" He asked anxiously.

"What could possibly go wrong?"

Everything.

"It'll take your mind off things."

"I'll do anything you want."

"Okay okay fineee just stop pressuring me." I said, giving in.

"YESS I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU." He shouts, pulling both my cheeks in for a kiss.

He was so happy which made my heart melt.

"I swear if something bad happens I'm hurting you Jacob." I said.

"Nothing bad is going to happen." He reassured.

"I'm serious J." I reply.

"I'm dead serious, now I'll be right back in gonna go shower." He tells me as he disappears into the hotel bathroom.

I finish up eating my breakfast, & watch what he had on.

Sooner or later I finished eating & I picked out what I was going to wear.

A pear of dark blue skinny jeans with a floral shirt & black vans.

As Jacob finishes showering, I hop in.

I relax for a bit as the water soothes my skin. A few minutes later I wash up my body then get out.

I get dressed then move onto my hair & makeup.

I put hair of my hair in a bun, and the rest down. For my makeup, I just do some quick touch ups and I was done.

Jacob was gelling his hair up in mirror.

"Baby you look fine, you don't need to put all that stuff in your hair." I tell him.

"And that's the same thing I tell you with makeup." He replied.

He got me there.

"Blah blah blah, can we just go there and get this over with." I said.

"I'm calling an uber right now."

"Okay." I said.

I was really nervous, yeah I lived in Arizona for quite some time but I never jumped off of a cliff.

I mean I could be fun, who knows?

Also Jacob looks so pumped about it & I love it when he's happy.

I just hope I could do it.

"They're here." Jacob said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Let's go." I say taking a deep breath.

We held hands and walk to the lobby to head to the uber.
