One of the little 4 year olds raised their hand and asked, "What's The Sorting?" 8101 remembered when she was 4 she asked the same question, exactly the same way the other girl said it.

"The Sorting is when the big kids get sent out to go live with their parents and work for Galloway," Ms. McIntire said in a very polite voice, "They even find out their names," Most of the 4 year olds gasped, along with some 10 year olds mocking the young.

8101 was just ready to get a move on, and take the bus to the Arena of Galloway, where The Sorting takes place, but Ms. McIntire kept on blabbing about The Sorting, just like she did every year. 8101 could almost recall everything she has said, since she's been through this 8-now 9-times.

"So that's why this happens, and we would like to recognize our fellow 12 year olds," Ms. McIntire said. 8101 never noticed this before, but she was pretty sure Ms. McIntire was holding back tears.

"Well, anyway, the bus is waiting for us, let's get a move on, DOUBLE FILE LINE!" Ms. McIntire belched out and made us get into our double file line, 20, or for today 22 and 23, in each. 8101 was in the front of her line, and her best friend, 8117, was front of the other one.

As they exited the building, 8117 whispered to 8101, "You nervous?"

"Not that much, just the twin part," 8101 said.

"You won't be a twin, being a twin is like one out of-" she didn't get to finish because Ms. McIntire caught them chit-chatting. She gave them and long glare, then turned to the bus and gave a warm welcome to our bus driver, Paul. He's been their bus driver for LUI, their carecenter, ever since Ms. McIntire was born.

They walked on to the bus in a orderly fashion, with 8101 leading. She walked to the end of the bus, seat 30, where 8117 joined her.

"Again, that time at the park, that boy didn't call for 8101, I'm positive he called for 8111. I heard it, I know,"

"I'm not so sure, it really sounded like 8101, and the boy who came over looked a lot like me,"

"We look like each other!"

"I have grey eyes, you have green, and your hair is a darker brown, and you have more freckles," 8101 said, "He had grey eyes. I have never saw anyone with grey eyes before, so I would know," 8101 turned away from her and looked out the window, into the city of Galloway.

"You can't know that for sure, you only saw him for a split second," 8117 said.

"No, I know when I see grey eyes, and those were grey eyes," 8101 still stared out the window.

"They looked blue in my opinion," 8117 said.

8101 turned to 8117, "Whatever, you-you know what? Let's just stop talking about this, the bus ride will go by a lot faster,"

"Ok,"

The bus ride didn't go by any faster than it would talking about that day in the park. 8101's brain was spinning. She had no idea what she would do if that actually WAS her twin. Thoughts kept spinning in her head. She could die. Her life could be over once she was 18.

30 minutes past and soon, the bus stopped, and opened its door. This is it..., 8101 thought, gulping in more butterflies. 8117 patted her on the back. At least she wasn't first, she was second, 8100 was first. That made her feel a little better.

Once off the bus, the girls got back into their 2 lines and walked to the entrance of the Arena of Galloway. 8101 was right next to 8117 and behind Ms. McIntire, who just gave her one long glare, then, to 8101's surprise, stopped the line, and hugged her. She hugged every single 12 year old, and that just made 8101 feel just a little better, knowing that.
