Steven Tyler sat in the middle of a raging party, a drink in his hand and a wild grin on his face. He was a rock God and he felt every bit of the title he'd been given. With a woman on either side of him, his arms draped over them delicately, he brought the joint between his fingers up to his lips, taking a sweet inhale, letting the marijuana cloud in his throat before smoothly blowing it out.
He unwound an arm from one of the pretty blondes next to him, reaching for the bottle on the coffee table that kept his misery dulled one sip at a time. He took a hearty gulp, letting the alcohol burn his throat, soothingly.
"Don't hog all of it you dick."
He smirked up at his fellow bandmate, gesturing the bottle towards Joe. "Swig your mind a way my friend."
Joe laughed, taking the bottle. "You know who just showed up?"
"Who?" He smiled up at him, his eyes burning below his dark bangs.
"Your wet dream my friend." Steven raised an eyebrow to that question, both men knowing there could be multiples to that answer. "Stevie Nicks."
"Get out, she's here?"
Joe nodded. "I know you've been trying to get into her pants for years."
Steven laughed off his comment, but he couldn't hide the burning in his cheeks. He'd fawned over her for quite some time now, being entranced by her image and her husky voice. He'd always been drawn to her aura, wishing too look deeper into her but never quite having the chance. He grinned at the two women next to him, giving them a wink. "If you'll excuse me ladies."
Both women nodded, giggling as if he'd just told the greatest joke of all times. He rolled his eyes, pushing himself off the couch. He leaned in towards Joe, lowering his voice. "Where did you see her?"
"She'd just walked in."
"Do you know where she is?"
"I'm not her keeper Steven, and i'm not going to ask if she likes you either, we're not in middle school anymore."
"Fuck you." He shoved his shoulder kiddingly.
"Just go and talk to her, within the next ten minutes. The next thing you'll know the both of you are too old to even get it up anymore."
Steven rolled his eyes. "Dick."
"At least i'm using mine."
He shook his head, patting Joe on the back before going to get another drink. He made his way over to bar, mixing his own drink before scanning the crowded room with his eyes. He'd almost missed her through the mob of people, just barely able to make her face out across the room.
She was standing next to a few people, not actually engaging in conversation as she just nodded her head here and there, a forced smile plastered on her face. He studied her more, noticing her eyes didn't quite shine like he'd previously seen them do, and she'd put on quite a bit of weight. Nevertheless she was still extremely attractive, his heart thumping as he made his way through the dark lighting, closer to her.
Her back was turned and he smirked, quietly sneaking his way behind her. In a quick fluid movement he wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning into her ear. "Guess who?"
Stevie gasped, her arm reflexively coming up and smashing her fist into the man behind her. She quickly felt the pair of arms around her retract, turning around with her hands covering her mouth. She felt even worse seeing who it was. "Oh my God, Steven I am so sorry."
"Shit." He had a hand cupped over his nose, blood dripping between his fingers.
"I'm sorry!" She apologized again, looking around for something to help him clean up. She grabbed some cocktail napkins near bye, handing them to him as he replaced his hand with them. "Keep your head back." She tilted his chin upwards, laying a hand on his back as she started to guide him through the crowd. She lead him into the hallway, knocking on the bathroom door. Hearing nothing in response, she opened the door and turned the light on, shutting the door behind them. "Sit right here." She gently pushed him into the counter, looking around for a wash cloth. Finding one next to the sink she turned the faucet on, getting the cloth damp then gesturing for him to move his hand.
