The place is not packed with people yet cause it's still early on this Friday night. It's already 10ish and there weren't that many people. They'll pour in around 11.30 nowadays. Don't ask me why, guessed that they just liked to arrive late, maybe.
Saw him standing alone near the fireplace. , with a drink in hand, looking around, either he's enjoying the scene, the music or maybe he's just shy. Haven't seen him in this place before. Being a frequent patron here, having stepped into this club without fail every Friday night for the past 3 years, I would have recognised almost everyone's face even though I might not know their name. Is he a visitor, or one of those new students, I'm not sure.
Knowing how it felt to be a stranger in a club full of people, I walked slowly to him, and took up the courage to ask that one particular(standard)question: "would you like to dance?"
