Ceil Salvestre, considered in the top of his game in his high school life. A rich, talented, smart and handsome boy that attends KA Bridgeport Academy. A school for the rich and famous. Ceil is the most popular boy in the school, not only is he the captain of the basketball team, his also the lead performer in their school drama. Every girl wants him and every guy envies him.
But even though he's considered as the "IT" boy, one thing Ceil doesn't want anybody to know, he's head over heels to a girl who never blends in the background. A girl with cold green eyes, long flowing black hair, faired skin, dressed always in black, and wears a mask (surgical mask). Ceil couldn't understand why he's captivated to the mystery girl in school and it all started in their sophomore year.
It was during lunch. "Ceil! Ceil! Come sit with us for lunch!", said the screaming cheerleaders who wants Ceil to notice them. "Not today girls, I have a previous engagement with my team", said Ceil with a wink.
As Ceil walks towards their table, he noticed someone walking towards him. A girl wearing a mask but her cold green eyes stood out the most. Ceil thought "Another fan I guess. She's probably going to confess but too shy to show her full face". But the girl just walked passed by him with a glare, like he did something wrong. Ceil was surprised that there's a single girl who doesn't fawn over him. He noticed that the mask girl dropped her handkerchief. "HEY! YOU! GIRL WITH THE MASK YOU DROPPED SOMETHING!", shouted by Ceil. The girl turned around and walked hurriedly to Ceil. Ceil smiled as he hands over the item, knowing his smile is his best asset that would win over the girl. The girl just reached for her handkerchief and walks away without even saying a word. Ceil tried to pull her and before he knew it, he found himself on the ground. Realizing he was just round house kicked by the girl.
"The nerve of that girl! Instead of a thanking you she dares to kick Ceil!", said Cameron one of the cheerleaders. "I wonder what's up with that girl" ask Ceil as he reach his hand towards Tristan, his teammate, giving him a hand. "Are you okay dude?" asked Tristan while laughing. "I think so. Man that was some kick" said Ceil. "I wouldn't worry about her dude, she's my classmate in calculus and she's a certified man hater.", said Tristan. "What? That's insane. So what's up with that mask?", asked Ceil. "Well the teacher told us she has a weird scar problem or something", said Tristan.
Ceil got curious and became aware of the mystery girl's presence over the year. Like he has his own antenna that immediately notifies him whenever she is around. He found out that the girl's name is Kyla, Kyla Alvarez. He couldn't understand why he got interested with her. He thought maybe because of their multiple encounters. Like in the library where he found out that they have the same interest in books, and the time Ceil saw a Paramore poster in her locker which is his favorite band.
Now Ceil enrolled in culinary class just so he can be classmates with Kyla. He made sure to sit right next to her. "Hi Kyla, I'm Ceil", said Ceil as he offers Kyla a handshake. But Kyla simply nod as a response. "Do you remember me? The guy you round house kick last year. Hehehe", asked Ceil. Kyla simply turn to him to take a 3 second look and focus back on the teacher. "But really Kyla, have I done something to you? I mean to make you hate me?" asked Ceil. Kyla didn't respond like she didn't hear a thing. "Mr. Salvestre! Do you have anything to share in the class?", said Mr. de Vol. "Nothing sir", replied by Ceil. "Well then I guess you won't have any problem reciting the three main ingredients in today's dish", said Mr. de Vol. "I'm sorry sir" said Ceil.
