- Sophie's -

"What?!?" I spoke up immediately.

"It's alright! Shock is a good response." Claudia said to Harry as though I wasn't even there. This woman must be crazy to think that I'd be a cover up for Harry Styles. Well, excuse me but since when did I even agree to sign onto this slavery project?

I shook my head immediately. "No, no, no. I don't want any part of this."

"Of course you do!" she smiled. I looked over at Harry who had his hand under his chin, not as amused as she was. "Any girl would want to date Harry Styles. I'm sure." she said with confidence. She's so wrong.

"No!" I disagreed. "I don't. This is lying. It's cheating to the public."

Claudia scoffed. "Come on, dear. You studied PR in college? Why so shocked then?" she asked judgementally. "It's not cheating. It's called displaying an image that is untrue to the public to replace another that isn't as good."

"I'm not gonna do it." I replied simply. I wasn't going to be a puppet to her little show. I was mad. I was furious that Harry didn't say a single thing throughout this whole meeting. Only a stupid 'hi' that added no productivity.

"I told you she'll say no." Harry finally spoke up. "There must be a plan B."

Claudia raised her eyebrow. "Plan B? Do you suggest that I simply go along with you being called a 'player'? Do you know how many parents that wouldn't appeal to? Your album sales depend on these people. Do you not understand?"

"We make music for teens, not eight year olds." Harry answered her and I couldn't stop myself from keeping a score board in my head. Harry just earned one point.

"Well, it isn't your choice, is it?" she rudely answered him. "Now, we have a contract all planned out, it will scale for about two--"

"Wait a minute, I told you no literally ten seconds ago." I interrupted her. "When I say no, I really mean it. Nothing you say or do is going to make me ever sign this little contract of yours. So, please find another girl to put up this facade because it isn't going to be me."

Claudia didn't seem disturbed at this at all which worried me. Instead, a small smile started appearing from her lips. "Sophia, right?"

"Sophie. It's two syllables, not that hard to remember." I answered sarcastically.

"Of course, my mistake. Miss Sophie Hartman, fresh graduate from college. Moved back home with her mother, only child." she said, slowly flipping a small file open. I stared at it to see all my personal details on it. How does she get all these? "Mother inherits Hartman's Socialites and is worth millions. Father lives in America, alone. Known as intellectual in her college class & worked hand in hand with Amber Riley & Finn Kristoff to win the Global Youth Thinking day award."

I sat up, grabbing the file with my information on it. I flipped through it. Everything was inside. My personal information, the schools I've been to, the awards I won and even the people I've communicated with. She knows everything there is to know. "Is this even legal to search me up like this?"

"I also know that you're waiting on to find a marketing job right now. I've seen your resume, it's quite impressive." she ignored my question totally. "But not impressive enough to sell yourself." she sighed.
