"Please, talk to me." I said, standing outside her house.
There was silence between us before her voice popped up. "Go away."
"Amber, if you could just listen to what I have to say. I just want you to understand why I did some things." I begged. I knocked one more time, hoping she'll have the heart to open the door and let me in. I didn't want her to misunderstand me any further.
I waited for her answer but all she did was kick the door. As I was about to answer, her mother appeared behind me with groceries in her hand. "Oh, hi, Sophie! Why don't you come in, dear?" her mother asked, trying to open the door.
"No, mom. Don't let her in. She's a liar and I don't want to talk to her right now." Amber's muffled voice spoke from the other end of the door. Her mother looked at me with an amused face. Obviously she doesn't know how serious it was right now.
"Alright but at least let me in. I didn't bring the keys and I'm carrying quite a heavy load." her mother innocently asked. I heard Amber's sigh from the other end of the door as she opened it to allow her mother in.
"Come in quickly but keep the monster out." Amber said as she glared at me.
Her mother started laughing at this. "You two are so cute." she commented. "Don't take too long though. I'm making dinner now so if you two don't settle this, dinner's going to be cold." she said, squeezing through the door.
"Moooom." Amber complained. "She's not invited in! I'm mad at her right now." she slammed the door in my face as I was about to squeeze in.
"Okay, okay. Whatever it is, dinner is served at six." her mother nagged.
I leaned on the door, sliding down to sit on the ground. "Amber, if you're not gonna let me in, I'll just explain from here." I said.
"Nope!" she replied immediately. "You can explain all you want but I'm going to cover my ears and not listen to a single explanation you have. La la la la la la...." she said loudly. I wanted to laugh at her actions because she's acting like a kid. But it wasn't such a great idea because it would make her even more mad that she already is.
"Look, Amber. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I love you so much and I would never keep anything from you. But I was told not to tell anybody and if Harry Styles says no, I follow." I reasoned out to her. She has stopped her 'la la la' but it was silence. "You need to let me in to explain everything."
Still no response. I sighed, taking out my phone to see that it was already 5.12pm. I've been standing outside her door for half an hour, trying my best to make her let me in. I didn't how else to do it other than to constantly apologise and to shower her with 'I love you's.
My eyes lighted up immediately. "If you let me in, I'll tell you why Modest! was looking for me and trust me... It's reaaaaaally interesting." I baited her in. There was still a silence between us and I thought that was the best I could get to.
Suddenly, the door clicked open and her head popped out. "On our scale of juiciness, how juicy is it?" she asked.
"10." I replied. "Maybe even an eleven." I said, wiggling my eyebrows. She thought about it before finally opening the door for me to get in.

"Wow." Amber said as I was done telling her everything I needed to. I told her about how Harry almost ran over me, about the hospital. I told her about our little agreement to not tell anyone. I reasoned out to her why I was caught red-handed.
