I woke up today with butterflies in my stomach! I'm in a hotel room in NYC getting ready for the biggest day of my life. I have a early audition for something huge. It's 7:00 AM. I just got out of bed and get into my audition clothes. I wake up my Mom,Dad and little brother and we go get breakfast. In the hotels breakfast area, we see a bunch of other acts (all the people auditioning had to stay in the same hotel) getting ready for there big day too. I got my breakfast and I starting thinking about how my audition will go...
*Merrick Thoughts*
Wow! I'm in the first audition! It will air on TV first, everyone will see it first! This is so scary!
*end of thoughts*
I accidentally ran into someone while I was deep in my thoughts. I look up to see a boy a little bit older then me. I apologize and he kindly expects. I asked, "what's your name" he replies "Henry, I'm 15 years old. How about you?" "I'm Merrick, I'm 12 years old" Since we are auditioning for the same show, we started to talk about it. "So Henry, are you excited about a auditioning today?!" I asked. " Yeah! Very nervous, but Excited!" Henry replied. Then I hear my mom calling me. It's time to go. I say bye to Henry and I go off into the cab, on my way to my big audition!
