I shove my last pancake in my mouth and look around the table. Ethan still with a plate full of pancakes, Cam, her mum Lisa and Dad Sean talking about something and Grayson, who's eyes have been looking at me the entire time we have been eating.
Finishing my final pancake I place my fork on the plate and stand up walking over to the sink placing the plate and fork on the bench near the sink. I sit back down and wait for them all to finish.
"Thank you for breakfast Lisa, it was delightful" I smile as she stands up from her seat.
"Your welcome honey" she replies with a small smile and walks back to the kitchen.
"So, zara, I hear you and Grayson slept together last night" Sean states to me with a slight giggle in his voice.
"Dad seriously?!" Grayson states with a grunt and gets up walking over to the kitchen bench as well.
"What? Aren't you guys dating?" He smiles at me while I look at him
"No, just good friends" I state back quickly and smile back at Sean. I look over at Grayson who's face looked sad. He realises I was looking at him and he gives a slight smile.
"Oh right, well... that's good then, we don't need to set ground rules then" Sean laughs and walks into the kitchen. I give a giggle and wait for Grayson to come over to me.
I sit there in silence watching Ethan still eating his pancakes.
"What?" He states looking to me then back to plate.
I shake my head and look to Grayson who was walking over.
"Come on" he states holding his hand out connecting our fingers together.
"There so dating!" I hear Cam yell from the kitchen as Grayson leads me up to his room. He closes the door and lets go of my hand.
Walking over to his bedside table he grabs a phone and walks back over to me.
"Here" Grayson states and gives me the phone.
"Oh my god my phone! I was scared I dropped it last night" I get exited and unlock it to see I have 3 missed called from Mumma❤️ and 10 missed calls from D💕
"Give me a moment Gray i need to call mum" i smile at him and walk over to his bathroom and close the door. My phone rings hers and on the 5th ring she picks up.
"Zara Jade Argent, where in the world are you! Dakota said you left the party last night with some guy!! Where the hell are you!" My mum screams from the other end.
"Woah slow down mum"
"I will not slow down until you tell me you are safe and are not a guys house" she screams again
"Alright mum, I have no idea what Dakota told you but yes I'm at a guys hou" I begin to say
"Get your ass home now, your grounded!" She screams at the top of her lungs and cuts me off midsentence.

My mum is always working, she never pays attention to me, and when I do the smallest things wrong she grounds me for it. No matter what I do it's never good enough for her and it's frustrating because weather or not I lie, or tell the truth she thinks I'm lying anyways and grounds me. And this is just one of the many examples. She's grounded me for being home 5 minutes late from Dance practise and then stopped paying for my dance lessons. She over extends my punishments.
"Mum I'm fine, just let me explain what happens before you go over the roof" I state firmly sitting down on the bath edge.
"Fine hurry up before I loose my shit even more" she states rudely and bluntly on the other end
"I don't know what Dakota told you, but one of her guy friends hurt me and Dakota slapped me and my good guy friends Ethan and Grayson got me out of there before her guy friend could hurt me anymore and I just crashed here because my head hurt, I swear mum that's what happened" I reply out of breath.
I hear her breathing from the other end
"Fine what ever, be home in the next hour or you will be grounded" she replays and hangs up the phone.

I groan and walk out of the bathroom to see Grayson waiting on the bed with his phone in his hands.
"How did it go?" He asks me sitting up pulling his body to the edge of the bed.
"Ahh well I almost got grounded, but kinda pulled my self out of it, and I need to be home in the next hour, so that's about it" I reply out of breath again and walk over to him.
He gives a giggle and looks at me. Our body's just a metre away from each other.
I smile at him as I see his eyes trail from my feet to my hips, to my chest and up to my face. My face goes red.
He leans his body forward and grabs my but with his hands and pulls me towards him. Out bodys touching. My hearts racing, skipping every second beat. I'm so nervous around this boy. His hands trail to my hips and I look down at him. His eyes soft and gentle. His hands staying on my hips I place my hands around his neck.
My heart rises when his face becomes closer to mine. His lips touch mine ever so softly as he stands up placing his hands upon my face. His soft lips push firmly against mine as I kiss back, our lips just pushed together for a few seconds. We both pull away.
"I ahh..." I begin to reply.
"Please don't go yet" Grayson almost begs as he places his hands around my waist.
"Gray I thought we where gonna take it slow, or we'll get to know each other a little better" I reply softly grabbing the front of his shirt with my hands my heart racing still.
"I know, but I just... I needed to know you liked me too" he states smiling back at me.
I giggle "how do you know I like you exactly?" I question.
"You kissed back" he replays laughing back. In which case was a good reply. This was true. I kissed back. I liked it.. I liked it a little to much in all honesty..

"Oh yeah. That's a true statement " I laugh with him.
I feel my pocket vibrate. I pull my phone out.
Text message from D💕
Hey Zee, can we please talk? I need to apologise

I groan.
"What?" Grayson says confused looking at me then to my phone.

Text message from D💕
I'm coming to your place in 15 minutes, see you there 😣👍🏻

"I should go" I smile at Grayson
"Dakota texted you didn't she" Grayson face drops. I nod and walk towards the door.
"Please" I hear Grayson say almost in a whisper from behind
I turn around confused
"What?" I smile back
"Please, pick me this time" he drops his face and look at the floor.
I sigh and walk over to him.
I lift his chin and peck his lips firmly but softly.
"I promise.. I'll text you after I talk to her" I reply and walk out of his room.
I give a quick good bye and thank Lisa and Sean for having me and leaving the Dolan Brothers house and head for home where Dakota and my Angry mother were waiting.
