Arya becomes No-One

" There girl. The God of Death has given you a second chance. You shall not be given another." Jaqen explains to Arya as he her eyes open.

"Who are you?" Upon questioning, she turns and looks him in his deep brown eyes and declares,

"A girl is no one." As they both get up, he sends Arya off to continuously clean the dead bodies and arrange the faces as she has done before. Upon her leave, the waif slowly walks up to him with the look of disappointment on her face wielding a double edge knife. She has been at the House of Black and White and the Temple of her God for much longer and witnessed many men and women who have done far less than Arya receive much harsher punishments. She half-whispers,

"You don't believe she is no one. It's a great crime against our God to lie in his house." He looks down to her and responds back ominously,

"No man can know another person's heart. Only the mind which communicates to the careful observer, it's every thought through every action. The greatest assassin, and those who built this house many years before our time knew this. And through every action, hither every thought, The Red God tells us his judgement. Watch her closely, report to me what her mind speaks. Bring to me His Judgement". With that said, he they went on opposite ways, Jaqen to the door exiting as a new being, and The Waif carefully slipping into Arya's shadow. Becoming one with it as she has been taught.

Later that night, as Arya is cleaning herself off from her days work, stunned in a single moment, she moves quickly to draw needle, as her arm moves across her arm to her belt, she hears repeatedly and in changing voices, different tones; different men: old men, young men, young women, old women, all in their youth, and death beds alike crying out circling around her different eyes starring back at her.

Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes, black eyes crying out,

"A girl is not no one

A girl is a lady of Winterfell

A girl is no girl but a liar

A liar is not no-one

A liar is Arya Stark

Daughter of a beheaded Traitor

Sister of a gutted Traitor

Daughter of the wife of a beheaded Traitor."

With tears crawling out her eyes as they shone in the darkness, she heard only then,

"Would have I been stabbed to death, the man who brought you into the world IF YOU HAD RETURNED HOME TO WINTERFELL?

Would your home been burnt by the treacherous Theon Greyjoy if YOU HAVE RETURNED ARYA...

If that is who you truly still are...

Girl."

The voice of Maester Luwin calling out to her.

Right then and there, Arya flung out needle as she was enclosed in darkness and one by one the candles flew out, at that moment the voice of the Waif crept in her ear deft as the ocean which sent shivers down Arya's spine as she spoke,

"Do you like my collection of faces? I collected them special for you. I'd like to add another and I will if a girl choses the wrong path." Arya slowly turned her face towards the waif to find a knife pressed against the skin on her neck,

"Believe me, my path is set in stone. Yours also. The difference is, unlike you, I've seen the darkness far before my sight has been taken from me. I've known terror, and loss, then loss again and again, and again far beyond your comprehension.' As The Waife, stunned by her words put down her sword, Arya finishes,

"The darkness I shall put you in, shall be one that you, unlike I, shall never wake your beautiful eyes from again." As Arya finished her point, The Waife looks deep within Arya's eyes, Arya looks deep within her eyes and whispers,

"Brown eyes, Blue eyes, Green eyes. Your eyes, I a Girl shall shut forever" The Waife questions,

"Who told you this nonsense? Only the God of Death determines which eyes he will shut foreve-" Before she had a chance to continue, Arya walks past her, smiling with needle back in it's sheath,

"The Red God that is. Until tomorrow, My Lady."

The Waif stares back, a taken by silence.

The very next morning, Arya walks into the main hall to grab her assignment for the day from Jaqen as he gives an elderly woman the cup of death from the water and walks promptly towards her,

"A girl has not slept very well, a girl has many dreams of strange faces, faces from the past, of broken homes, broken bodies, broken hearts." She looks down, upsettingly,

"It wasn't a dream. It was real." Jaqen turns her face towards him.

"Does a girl wish to speak to the man in front of her, or to the floor, a lifeless object of which certainly no help?" Arya embarrassingly replies in a harsher tone, eyes starring into his,

"It was real. The Waife came in the middle of the night when I was cleaning and preparing to go to bed then threatened me." Jaqen at this moment is unimpressed by Arya, however he does crouch down to her and explains,

"Did she threaten you? Or merely shared with A Girl the fate of those who does not keep the Red God's demands? The difference is dire young girl. Even so, until a girl learns this the difference between honoring the words of God and acting in his or her wishes and commands, a girl can never be no-one. For no-one, is the one who gives up his entire life, hopes, dreams, and desires not for some ancient order, a few tricks, or even for the sake of becoming no-one, for himself. But to become the vessel of The Red God, The Many Face God, Life, Death itself."

Arya questions in disbelief,

"The Red God and the Many Face God. Aren't they different?" Jaqen finishes,

"Many Face God, The Red God, The Lord of Light-One God for No-one, Many gods, to someone.' As Jaqen rises he gives Arya her mission.

'Today is a day that a girl decides who she is. Whether Arya Stark a girl whose identity is vengeance, despair, and emptiness; or, No-One. A Girl is to go to the theatre and kill the name written on this bottle. A girl shall go and prove herself to the Many-Faced god or face uncertainty." He hands the bottle into Arya's palms and as he walks off, Arya shouts back at him,

"Wait, who's this Lady Crane? Why will she die? What has she done?" Upon questioning, Jaqen turns around and replies,

"A girl will know. The theatre begins in an hour, go quickly and speak less, listen more, every word, every action- reveals a man and women's heart. God shall speak their judgement into yours." Off they go on different paths, Jaqen into the depths of the building, Arya out to the streets. The Waif not so close behind, switch blade in hand.
