Chapter 1
September, start of first term back at school. The thought made Liam groan with horror, luckily it was a Friday, which was weird because it was almost the weekend and they were starting a new term but he wasn’t complaining, he hated the thought of finishing his summer break. It was his last year, finally, he was over whelmed at the thought. One more year at hell, one more year to put up with the students, the teachers and worst off all the homework and exams, the only thing to look forward too was graduation and leavers but still that didn’t excite him all that much. He didn’t so much hate school or the work he got given. He just hated some of the people in it, most of them were just stuck up or just not nice people. Although Liam knew and admitted, he wasn’t the most popular kid at school, that didn’t mean he wasn’t known and he had made some really good friends in the meantime.
Sadly, he was known for the wrong reasons. Liam was gay. Always had been, so his life had been pretty tough putting up with all the hate he got from it, he got called some horrible names and some horrid things were said about him but he was a strong boy and tried not to take notice. Sure a lot of it wasn’t bad, just some disgusted looks of people at school or in his area that knew him, or the occasional ‘fag’ shouted behind his back. Yes, all these things were small, but even the smallest things can still hurt.
Liam was a brave, caring and strong hearted young boy, so his family and friends described him as anyway. His three best friends, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan had always been there for him. He’d know the three since grade one of primary school and they’d all remained best friends all throughout the years even through the ups and downs they had together, they met in choir, they were all passionate about music especially singing and had grew up in there little ‘garage band’ they didn’t actually have a proper band they just met up and sung random songs and recorded themselves and Niall sometimes played guitar but they sounded pretty good, although over the years it slowly drifted out of the picture, the band was some-how, forgotten.
Harry was hands-down, the flirt of their little group. He got a lot of attention off girls because of his good looks, charming and flirty personality and not to mention his beautiful brown curls. He was known as a bit of a slut around their community and school, but that didn’t make him any less of a good friend and since he met a girl known as India Bradshaw he had changed quite a bit, he was more loyal and committed to her than he was any other girl he had met before, he claimed to be in love with her and acted it too. He’d always be there for Liam whenever he needed him and always would be.
Niall was, well the blonde haired and green eyed Irish one of the group. He moved from Ireland when he was 6, although he had been in the UK a majority of his life his sexy Irish accent stayed with him. He was the sport and fun loving one of the group. Niall was always full of energy always running and bouncing around, jumping off things and just always making things better than they actually were. He was obsessed with football, rugby, basically any sport played with a ball. He played in offence for their school football team, and was well known as he was one of the best players and one of the best left midfielders in the area.
And then there was Louis, little Louis Tomlinson, although he was the oldest of the group he was the smallest and youngest looking. Louis was no doubt the class clown. The one who could always make you laugh even on the worst day in the world. Louis was also quite well known at school, not for looks, not that he wasn’t fit - Liam always thought Louis was good looking, but for the fact he was able to cheer anyone up at any time.
He was the friendly trouble maker in their year and he was easily one of the sweetest guys at school. He was kind and loving with the people he cared about. A lot of the girls adored Louis sweet, caring and loving personality. Louis had always looked out for Liam since primary school; he was the best friend you could ask for. The first time someone picked on Liam during third grade, pushing him over in the middle of lunch time. Louis made sure he was the one to beat up the kid and left him dangling off the school jungle gym.
