Klaira's POV

"Where's Kaname?" I asked looking toward the door.

"He'll be here soon sweetie," mom says hugging me tightly.

The door opens and Kaname walks in. "Kaname!" I say running and hugging him. He strokes my hair and looks towards the door. "Kaname whats wrong?"

"Nothing sis," he says hugging me tighter.

"You're lying to me. Whats wrong?" I ask.

Before he could answer dad rushes in. He looks at mom and she grabs my hand. She takes me to an empty room. We sit in the corner of the room and I look up at her.

"Mother, why did you bring me here?" I ask and she just hugs me. Then I black out.

~Five years later~

"Klaira come on master's waiting for us," Zero says grabbing my hand.

"Ok, Zero but can you let go of my hand it hurts," I say.

"Sorry," he says letting go of my hand.

We walk toward master. I hear Ichiru say my name and hug me. Then he hugged Zero. I smile at the two hugging until I started getting light headed. I grabbed Zero's coat.

"Klaira are you okay?" Ichiru asks.

"I'm fine just light-headed," I say smiling at him.

"You been getting those more and more lately," Zero says with concern.

"I'll be okay Zero I promise," I say smiling.

Time Skip

"ZERO NO!" I yell.

"You're not one of their children are you Klaira," the vampire holding me said. I just let tears fall and she lets go of me. I run to Zero. She bit him and I started crying harder.

"Klair stop crying," he says. I just kept crying.

"How sweet," she says putting her arm around Ichiru.

"Y-you witch, why are you d-doing this?" I say with tears streaming down my face.

"Ich...iru..." is all Zero said as the vampire and Ichiru leave.

~Ten years later~

I wake up to my alarm. I turn it off and roll out of bed. I put my uniform on and grab my books. Then I hear a knock at the door. I walk over and answer it.

"Hi Yuki, where's Zero?" I ask greeting her.

"Slacking off like always, but anyways are you ready?" she asks. "Why are you wearing the boys uniform?"

"The skirt to the girls uniform is too short for my liking," I say with a smirk.

She just smiles and we head to class. As we're walking I hear light footsteps coming from behind us. I turn my head to see Zero. He looked tired like always, but something looked off about him today. I shrug it off and turn back around. As I turn my head back around I run into a support beam making me fall back.

"Klair, are you okay?" Yuki asks putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, I just spaced out I guess," I laugh a little.

"Pay more attention than," Zero says helping me off the floor. I nod and we walk into the classroom. I sit next to Zero and he falls asleep. 'He works too hard' I thought.

~Time skip~

"ZERO!" I yell causing him to jump a little.

"You don't have to yell y'know," he says looking annoyed.
