Never letting go (Hunhan)

Chapter 32

After losing the sight of Sehun in a intersection of four hallways, they decided to scatter into pairs of Kaisoo, KrisChen and Chanbaek for their further search of the certain wild goose and ever since, they have been running through all the hallways in search of the raging maknae but only to be in vain.

Baekhyun is sure that he have surpassed the amount of departments and hallways- including stairs- he have ever walked in the past one year, in just 15 mins.

And now, not being able to keep his curiosity within himself anymore, after all the walking he have done, Baekhyun finally let it out.

Since he has been mindlessly following the giant without any possible idea of what's going on in the current situation they were in, he thinks he atleast deserve some explanation.

"Mind telling me what's so big about this new guy, that have got you all reacting in this way?" Baekhyun asked, real curious on what could be the reason for his friend's panick looks, on hearing that the new guy is Taeyong.

Taeyong had joined the campus today, he knows because Taeyong had happend to share his first class with Baekhyun this morning, where he had introduced himself as a transferee from the States, so now his confused on how his friends already happens to know him and how this whole thing relates anything with Sehun and Luhan.

"We are old mates."

"Mates?" Baekhyun pondered,"As in schoolmates?"

"Yeah, we went to the same high school." Chanyeol said nonchalantly with a nod," You know, friends that lost contact and all."

Well, it explains how they already know him but-

"If he was a friend, isn't it suppose to be good news?" Baekhyun couldn't understand how being friends meant looking for Sehun in different directions, as if Sehun was a serial killer on release, for a kill, the victim being Taeyong.

And Chanyeol suddenly broke out into laughters,"Sorry but by friends, I meant everyone except Sehun."

Just at the imagine of Sehun and Taeyong being friends, Chanyeol couldn't control his laughters. They all believe that even mission impossible won't be as much impossible then both of them becoming friends, not to say how hilarious it would be.

Baekhyun crooked his head in confusion,"And why would that be?"

"Well, to put it simply; their story is very much like a korean drama, with Taeyong being the third person who entered in the middle of semester in high school, he had like Luhan since childhood, when they were still kids and back in China. Taeyong and Luhan were childhood friends before Luhan got transferred here, which meant Taeyong came into Luhan's life before Sehun did, so you know- you could guess how Sehun must have felt about all that. "

'Whoa' was the only word for Baekhyun, he don't think he will ever stop being awed by their stories. And he could only wonder on how many more stories were there to be unfold, everytime Baekhyun thinks he knows everything about the couple, something completely different pops up, managing to awe him time and again.

And it also triggered his drama-mode.

If anything, Baekhyun was really intrigued now. How could he not be, when the topic has now come down to a 'High school drama with lots of jealousy involved.'

"Were there any cliche moments like- misunderstanding, jealousy or um- rivalry?" And it was a purely general question.

Chanyeol chuckled at Baekhyun's word,"Naah, not misunderstanding but with Sehun involved, of course there was lots of jealousy and rivalry."
