"Ok, I can make it. It's only what, 20 feet? I can do this."
This. This is my pathetic excuse for a pep talk. How do I believe this crap? Because I'm dumb when it comes down to pep talks.
"Ok, on the count of 3."
"1"
"2"
"THREE!"I kicked open the car door, jumped out, slammed it shut, and bolted to the doors.
Suddenly, I was greeted with a blast of cool air. I made it. My first solo trip to the mall was a success.
Walking past the food court, I didn't take notice of group of strangers that were heading in the direction I was heading.
How could I have been so dumb? Simple. Hot Topics was on my mind. Blah blah blah, lousy excuse. I know.
Excitedly, I walked into one of my favourite stores. Staring up at the merchandise, I didn't heed the group that was following me.
"Ok, listen. You're going to pretend your with us, got it? Your not going to do anything to indicate otherwise, got it?" Someone whispered behind me, holding something up to my back.
I just simply nodded, and walked out, them following.
We went to some shops, browsing through stuff.
The group consisted of 2 girls and 3 boys. One girl was blonde, with stunning blue eyes, kinda short though. Could tell she was with the boy with the bowl cut brown hair. The second girl was a tall brunette, brown sugar eyes, with Orange head. The 3rd guy was black hair, really deep blue eyes, pale, and tall too.
We were just passing by a phone shop, when my stomach grumbled. "I'm going to go get some food." I stated, and started to walk off, but blackie grabbed my arm. "Your not going anywhere." He threatened.
'Ok.' I thought, a smirk coming to my face. "If you don't let me go, I'll just have to talk."
"Oh, and that's supposed to scare us?".
Aaaaaand that's how I ended up rambling on about facts about the shooting of all Harry Potter scenes, and the group groaning about my lecturing.
"And did you know-"
"I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE OF THIS!" Black hair groaned."JUST LET HER GO BUY SOME FRICKING FOOD! HERE GO BUY WHATEVER YOU WANT! JUST STOP TALKINGGGGG!" Blondie complained, thrusting me 5 $20 bills.
Smirking, I strutted up to the Chick-fil-a.
Smiling victorious, I came back with a tray of chicken nuggets. And ice cream. And sodas.
"Here you guys go." I chirped, passing out the food. They just stared, jaws on the table.
Blackie, whose name after whispering to his friend I found out as Jackson, raised an eyebrow at me. "Uh, thanks?" He hesitantly said.
"Well I can't really have my hostages go hungry, can I?" I cheekily replied.
"Wait. WHAT?!"
Which is how I ended up explaining that I have the power to talk their ears off. Which led to them groaning and the Blondie smirking.
"I like this girl. Hi, I'm Isabella." She greeted, holding out her hand. I shook it. "Aralyn. Can tell we're going to be friends."
Which resulted in the entire group warming up to me, and Jackson paying for a 5 tickets to go see The Cursed Child, as well as 5 drinks and plenty of candy, and 4 buckets of popcorn.
After it finished, we tumbled out, the guys all crying their faces off, and us girls shouting random spells at nothing.
We continued window shopping, but we all stopped at Hot Topics.
Everyone had split up, and I was gazing at the clothes wall, until I spotted something.
A Harry Potter bedset, and a Ravenclaw bedset deal.
Rushing to it, I glanced at the tag, stopping cold.
It felt like 1,000 dementors were attacking me, and being hit by the Cruicatas curse, watching all my favourite character's death scenes.
$150. That was the price.
I fell to my knees, shouting "Oh why cruel world? Cruel world, cruel world.", collapsing dramatically onto the floor.
Jackson came over, and nudged me with his shoe. "Hey, you ok?" I whimpered, gesturing to the price tag.
He looked at it and laughed. Picking it up, he bought it for me. HE BOUGHT IT, JUST FOR ME!
"THANKYOU THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!" I shrieked, jumping up and down around him, him chuckling.
Damn, he looks happy. Am I falling for him?...
*Jackson POV*
Damn, she looks so happy. I think I'm falling for this girl...
