Andrew

"Andrew!" I turn my head to the direction the sound was coming from only to see our class-teacher waiting with a book in her hand "I think you'd like to read this" a smile spread across her face. Being my English teacher as well, she was the only one enthusiastic about my passion for reading. Only I didn't quite share her enthusiasm as her favourites were a lot more boring than mine... and usually that meant I ended up reading history and romance just to please her and make her leave me alone.

Callie

I trudged past people in the hallway as everyone came flooding into it after the bell gave a load screech. Pulling my books to my chest I mutter as someone bumps their shoulder into me nearly sending my flying. As fast as I can I make it to the end of the long hallway and rub my tired blood shot eyes. I gaze around trying to find a safe passage to my class.

Andrew

After thanking Miss Hennesy as honest and warm as I could. I took the book and turned to head fom my class when I heard the bell ring. I cursed under my breath and lengthened my strides to get as quickly as I could to a safe spot from the flooding masses. A close call between me and one of the more annoying jocks, a streched leg to make another trip and a shoulder push happened to be the only interaction I got on my short adventure through the flock. I smiled as I sat in my seat at the front of the class, face to face with the teacher. Maths, Mr. Coulard.

Callie

After taking a moment to breath I let out a sigh, my class was still down this next hallway. With one last deep breath I submerged myself into the crowed over upper and lower class men. With all the force I could muster I pushed past a group of football players who stood near the door to my classroom. As I entered the room my appearance did not give light to my fear in the hallway. I walked in with grace. I took a look a round for a seat. Quickly taking one near the side of the classrooms near the window.

Andrew

~50 minutes later~

The bell rings again and I can hear a couple classmates grunting loudly as each woke up from their respective beauty sleeps. After Mr. Coulard dismisses us, I pick up my bag, sketch a smile towards him and exit to the hall, quicker than everyone else. I had to get back to the library and pick up this week's batch of books. Not very surprising, the librarian was the other person I was on very good terms with.

"Hey, Kelly. Anything interesting this time?" I look through the box she prepared for me "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" I pick up the thickest book and look at it in awe, my face lighting up "I thought you said they don't give them out to libraries!!! Omg thank you. Thank you so much" I would've hugged her if I could over the table "Do you want anything? Maybe a drink from the cafeteria. I can bring you one in just a couple of seconds" I wink, hinting towards my ability. "NO, thank you, Andrew. You're such a sweet boy. But please make sure nobody finds out you got that from me" she winks back, flicking her hand to show me out "And don't forget to bring last week's batch in tomorrow"

Callie

Gathering my stuff and let out a sigh and blow a stand of hair that has fallen, off my face. I walk down the hallway and head to the library to drop some books off I had finished reading. I glance over at the libarry counter as I hear a young boy shout happily. I keep walking and head to the book drop. I carefully drop them in before disappearing being the stacks of shelves in search of a new book.

Andrew

I notice someone else was quick to get to the library as well so I rush outside, still trying to avoid directly meeting people except for a couple classmates and the teachers. I felt like I didn't quite yet know enough about the school, its habits and the students to be sure I befriend the right people.

After I leave the carboard box I just got in my locker, I pick up the last book I had to read from last week and shove it in my hoodie pocket. Swift on my feet and going with the current, I soon find myself in a more retreated interior courtyard. The grass and a small tree offer me the perfect reading spot for the next approximately one hour of the lunch break.

Callie

I nod at a few people who walk in or out of the library. I wasn't a lonor by any means I was just very shy when I wasn't with my friends.
Making it to thw corner of the library I slide my back down the bookshelf and sit dowb in ton ground. I pull my galaxy book bag onto my lap and unzip it. I pull out my textbook for English along with my notebook and a pencil. I debate if i should grab my phone and headphones and listen to the music.
I decide to slide one head phone in and let the other dangle as I start takin notes over my English book.

Andrew

The wind was slowly blowing through the rims on leaves above my head as I had about 20 pages left in the book. It wasn't that captivating anymore regarding the actual story but I still needed to know hoe it ends. It was pretty cold and autumn was just around the corner, clouds starting to darken the sky more and more often. I got up and started walking first in the building and then along the empty corridors to strech my legs, still reading.

Callie

Finishing my notes I stand and stretch. I glance around making sure the cost is clear before my body slowly turns invisible. With a shimmer I was gone, well only by appearance. Going long periods without using my  talent I would grow restless and annoyed.
I gather my things up ans stuff my headphones back imto my Jacket pocket along with my phone. I sigh and pick my bag up and cram my notebook and text book into the bag and lift it  up sliding it on my back.

Andrew

Not long after I left my spot I notice it's unusually quiet. Even for the lunch break. There should be at least a couple students here and there who have either finished, are not eating or want to eat later in one of the other breaks. I stop time to extend the period I had to check on everything.
Running along the halls and checking every classroom I soon notice something really strange is happ-, my train of thought is interrupted after I crash into apparently nothing, falling back and letting time flow once again as I got confused and lost control.

Callie

I groan and fall to the ground as a boy slams into me. Losing concentration my ability snaps and I'm back to normal again as I call to my butt onto the ground "What the crap dude watch where your going" I say in just over a mumble. I glare at the boy.

Andrew

"How was I supposed to see you?" I snap back immediately, getting up with a swift, clearly exercised movement as I reach a hand out to help you to your feet. My face didn't feel guilt or remorse, but neither did it satisfaction. It was free of any emotion, my lips a straight line as I looked you in the eyes "You should know why there's nobody on the halls".
