April 3rd was my birthday, and I was gutted that Alex couldn't spend it with me. But, a couple of days later, I went out with my friend Charlie. Obviously, she was being a crazy nutcase as per usual.

That's when I got a message from my mum about a parcel that had come for me. I guessed that it was from Alex. So Charlie and I soon headed back to my house, and as soon as I got home, I opened it. Inside were two presents and a letter.

He bought me my favourite perfume and a book. A book?! Well... yeah. I like reading, and he's picked up on that. The choice of book was great too, it only took me three days to finish it.

After an amazing two weeks off school, of course I had to eventually go back. The weekend after our first week back, I arranged with my friend Ellie and her boyfriend (at the time, who is the same age as Alex) to go into town so I could buy Alex something for his birthday, which was on the Monday.

Of course, it was kind of awkward being third wheel. Well, not necessarily awkward, just jealous because I can't meet Alex whenever I want. So Matt (her boyfriend) and Ellie were looking at rings. Yep, I definitely got jealous then.

The funny thing as well is that a couple of weeks before, I had showed Alex a picture of a ring I liked. He then said something along the lines of, "I know what I'm gonna get you for our first date, and you're gonna love it." Of course, this made me suspicious.

Anyway, I went to a photo shop to print out the first ever picture Alex and I had together. (See above). I also bought a heart frame for it to go in, but we all had some trouble doing that, so I left a note. I also placed the letter in the package which I had written in advance. Then I sent it off to Sweden.

The following Friday, Alex received his present and posted on Instagram about how happy he was with it. That made me happy. Later on, he then read the letter aloud on FaceTime, and I realised how cringy it really was, and how I was not looking forward to next month...
