TEASER (battle excerpt from The Olympic Games)
"Why!!!!" yelled Steffy
"I don't know.....I was hungry." replied Aiden.
Aiden had ate the last little mound of bread that they had, now they had no food, and there water was running low.
"Hungry......you were hungry......" said Steffy in a kind of trance.
"I'm sorry...."
Aiden watches Steffy cautiously. She seems to be contemplating what to do.
Suddenly she swings her fist at his face. He catches her fist in his hand. She swings the other fists and hits him in the jaw, causing him to stagger backward.
"Stephanie!!!" he yells.
She screams and dives for him. He throws her out of the way and she hits a tree and rolls throught the dirt.
"You little—" she throws one of her daggers at his head. He rolls out of the way just in time as it hits the tree right where his head just was.
"Stephanie stop!!!!" he yells.
He notches an arrow and aims it at her chest. She stops and stares at him.
"I hate you. You little piece of sh—" she was cut off by Aiden shhhing her. He was staring at a spot just behind her in the foliage.
"Stephanie....come to me slowly." he whispers.
She takes on step forward—a giant reptilian tail flies out and wraps around her waist.
Time slows for a fraction of a second and Aiden and Stephanie lock eyes and he can see the fear in her eyes. Then she is yanked away into the forest.
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" he yelled as he ran headfirst into the depths of the forest.
He had been running for what felt like hours and he still had no clue where they were. Suddenly he sees a glint of gold on the ground. He rushes over and takes a look. His heart starts beating fast. This locket belonged to Stephanie. He knew she wouldn't just leave it or drop it for that matter. The chain was pointing to the north. Where all the cliffs are. That must be where they are going. So he collects the locket up off the ground takes a sip of water from the bottle in his pack and sets off at a run towards the northern edge of the island.
She was tied up to a tree on the edge off the cliff. She knew she couldn't get down. The drop was at least 120ft. So she had to wait and hope Aiden understood her clue. She knew he would though. After all he is the son of Athena.
She watched the creature make preparations for an obvious feast. With boiled Stephanie on the menu. But she had no intensions of being cooked tonight.
"Hey," said Stephanie.
The thing kept on adding ingrediants to the boiling cauldron near the edge of the cliff.
"Hello!!!" Stephanie yelled
"WHAAAAT!!!!" yelled the monster with a hiss.
"Who are you?" Stephanie asked
"Oh, you should know." she said in a wannabe flattering voice.
"If I knew who you were I wouldn't be asking you....." she replied.
"Well", said the monster.
"I am Echidna, wife of Typhon. I am the mother of all monsters and you my child are my meal for tonight." She said.
"It's nice that you have an imagination." Stephanie said calmly.
"What do you mean?"
"Its nice that you think i'm your dinner....because I'm not." said Stephanie
Suddenly 4 arrows sprout out the back of her neck and she howls, well hisses in pain. She wips around and there is Aiden running and he springs into the air with his daggers in each hand.
