Adriano's POV

I wake up to the sound of voices arguing really loud. I groan and step out of my blanket ready to have my bath.

I quickly undress and step into the shower, brush my teeth and close the door.

After ten minutes, I quickly dry my hair and body with a towel and head to my small closet. I pick out a white shirt, black pants, a black tie and a black blazer.

After dressing up, I wear my black socks and step into my black shoes- really boring outfit right?
That's how it has been since I've been working as an attorney at a law firm, in the center of the city.

Grabbing my suitcase and other requirements, I head downstairs for a cup of coffee and a sandwich.

After my breakfast, I head outside my apartment where the arguing voices I heard earlier were now audible.

I walk towards them and See Nina, my neighbor arguing with a guy wearing a black suit with dark sunglasses.

"You can't do nothing, you asshole!" Nina yells.

"We'll see about that I guess?" The guy smirks. 

Nina lounges forward towards the guy, her hand swinging out ready to take him down but I grab her just in time to avoid further chaos.

"Nina  take it easy and explain what happened." I say, calming her tense body down.

"He's trying to chase us out of this building" Paloma says quietly.

"Excuse me sir, that's not what happened. The real deal here is that, this building has been bought by my boss and we are here to inform you tenants to vacate the house in a month."

"That's what I just said." Nina  responds rolling her eyes.

"Without our consent?" I ask the guy.

"Well, actually we had purchased it from the owner who was supposed to give you guys a quit notice." He responds firmly.

"Obviously, we didn't get any." I interject.

"That's not my problem sir." He responds rudely.

"Whatever, you will have to leave because we are going to take legal actions against your boss and this issue will be resolved." I say in an attempt to maintain peace and quiet in the neighborhood.

"Alright, I'll inform her."

"Good. Adriano Ferrier is my name, I'm an attorney."

"Ivan Montenegro, I'm also an attorney." He replies and I'm quite shocked.

" What an unfortunate coincidence." I reply.

"I agree, and I'll be leaving. See you later- scratch that, see you never." He says and leaves in a black car.

"Thanks so much Adriano." Nina says and hugs me. I pat her back and after we pull apart, I nod at her.

"You're welcome. I have to go, see you later." I say quickly already walking towards my car as I am already running late for work.

I arrive at my office minutes later and quickly start my work for the day.

After hours of working, I receive a mail from a shipping company wanting to have a meeting with me this afternoon about some undelivered shipments.

I'm really confused because I don't see how this concerns me in any way but I schedule the meeting anyways.

At around four o'clock, my door is knocked which reminds me of the meeting.

"Come in" I reply engrossed in the documents I'm working on.

The door opens and a stunning lady enters. She looks really hot in an all black outfit.

We hold a burning gaze before I finally speak up.

"Good afternoon, I assume you are Estefania Perez-"

"Perez Heldado" she cuts in sharply.

"My bad, Please have your seat. Would you like anything to eat or drink before we start this meeting?" I ask.

"No thanks."

"Alright let's begin." I say, wanting to get this over with already.

She showed me a file and that's when I actually realize her purpose of visiting.

Two hours passed and we finally reached a conclusion that was surprisingly in my favour because she was a strong competitor who wouldn't stop at nothing to get what she wants. I gave her a suitable alternative which she agreed to leading to the end of the meeting.

As she turned her back to me already making her way for the door, I saw that she had left her file, so an idea came to mind.

I made my way towards her really close to her back and I leaned in to her ear already loving her intoxicating smell. She froze not expecting our sudden close proximity. My hand makes its way to her waist and stops to hand her  the file she left.

"You forgot this." I whisper in her ear amused by the small shiver that left her body from her exposed kin around her shoulders.

I was enjoying the moment until she decided to turn around and thank me. We are still very close, our faces inches away from each other. She mutters a quick thank you and I smirk down at her.

She opens the door, ready to leave before I respond.

"See you around, gorgeous." I say to her while smirking.

She closes the door and leaves while I sigh to myself thinking about what just happened. I enjoyed it!
