I could still feel the warmth, the warmth from Will's lips. Could that really have happened?

The mirror above the sink showed a kid I could barely recognize. It was still me, scrawny, pale, me.

But I looked different. A little less tired, eyes a little brighter, I looked a little happier. I didn't hate it. I didn't hate him. I didn't hate me.

I got into the shower and did something I rarely did. Sing.

After I got out of the shower I hummed Death of a Bachelor while I got dressed. That's one of my favorites ever. But I mean, who doesn't love it?

Breakfast was unusually quiet. And it made me suspicious. Hazel looked guilty, she wasn't good at hiding that. Dad looked a little puzzled.

"Okay what is going on! You keep giving me those looks!" I blurted out. My dad sighed and Hazel let out a shaky breath. She glanced at Dad, the. At me.

"OkayDadmayhavekindainterrogatedWilllastnightwhenhebroughtyouhome!" Hazel spewed out. It was at a rapid speed, but I understood perfectly.

"DAD!" I yelled angrily. He sighed again. "Nico..." he said. "You knew this was coming. I did it to Frank, I did it to Will."

He had a point. I'd had that same guilty look when he did that to Frank, freshman year. "Well?" I asked impatiently.

"He seems like a good kid. I approve."

Hazel squealed and jumped out of her chair. She spun around the kitchen and pulled me out of my chair. I laughed at her childish behavior, considering it wasn't even a test for her crush.

"Yay! Now you guys can date!" She exclaimed happily. I rolled my eyes and mumbled under my breath, "If he even wants a second one."

It was around one o' clock when Will called.

"Hello?"

"Hey Neeks, what are you up to?"

I blushed at the nickname. "Not much, why?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to do something today? Or not...I don't know if that's weird, since it's only the day aft-"

"Yes Will. what do you want to do?"," I cut him off.

"Hmm, I have an idea. Meet me at my house in twenty, dress warm."

Then he hung up.

Now I know what you're thinking, "Morgan! It's Wednesday! Why you updating?" And to that, I say,"Ha! I have a motive!" I wanted to give a shoutout, as mentioned in the beginning of the chapter, to camleesny because today is their birthday!! Happy Birthday!
