What happened to Anna???

After running from Gabriel, Anna ran towards her home.   How she recognized the path is uncertain, a long ago memory perhaps?  As she ran through the back door her sobs of pain could be heard throughout the house.  Sarah, her mother ran towards her, her heart racing in terror as she felt her daughter's pain.  When she saw the tears shimmering in her dark eyes like a million stars twinkling in the skies in the darkest hours of the night, it broke her heart.

Anna's pain and grief broadcast loudly outwards to the pack, the sheer strength of it overwhelming her fellow pack members.  Suddenly, male warriors began shifting anxiously and racing towards her home, their inherent need to protect the females of the pack having been triggered by her unconscious broadcasting of her fear and pain. All around the pack territory children ran crying to their parents and teachers. 

There was a vague sense of unease and fear echoed through the pack, especially when there was an unknown scent captured upon the wind near Anna's home.  Everyone went into lock down mode, an event implemented after Anna was stolen the first time.  For now, no one was allowed into nor out of the Pack Territories until otherwise allowed by the Alpha.  It was only after an intensive search that the head Warrior teams, trackers and Beta gave an all clear.

For the first time since arriving home, Anna allowed Sarah to hold her close as she coo'd softly to her. Whispering softly and gentling her, trying to find out what happened? What had caused her daughter such pain and fear. "Anna" Sarah stopped her, gently stroking her hair behind her ear, revealing her eyes glistening with tears, "What's wrong my beautiful baby girl?"Sarah continued stroking her back softly. Her mother's loving touch bringing more peace to Anna than anything else could have, other than her Mate's touch. She felt lost now, with no Mate and in her child like innocence, she didn't even understand what that even meant, beyond the burning painful sensation that tore through her very soul.

"He....he is ve...very bad man" she whimpered between her hiccups "he gives me pain". Anna rubs her fingertips over her heart, "the b..b..bad man gives me pain"....tears once again flowing unchecked from her glittering eyes.

Anna's voice broken, a whimper8 reverberating deep from within, as both her own heart, and that of Jerica shattered like fragile glass, "i..i thought i was away from tha bad bad man who hurt me, that he could no hurt me again" by now Anna was so lost in her thoughts, "but he...he give me pain," her voice cracking with fear and pain, so much so that Sarah could barely understand a word here and there....No wonder she couldn't understand what Anna meant by her words...

"Who hurt My baby girl?" Sarah's frowned her eyebrows in confusion and consternation, certain, as only a Mother can be that there was more going on in what Anna was saying than she understood. Taking Anna's face in her hands, tilting her chin upwards until she could gaze straight into the crystalline tears reflected in her dark gaze. "Who Anna?"

She didn't answer right away, her thoughts trapping her somewhere in the past, in a place where abuse and pain flowed hand in hand, where her Aunt's mate's nephew had taken Anna and tortured her when he couldn't rape and force an unwanted mating upon her. Where the torture was so severe, the Moon Goddess Herself protected Anna by trapping her psyche in a child like state from which she would only emerge with the love and acceptance of her true Mate or she would remained lost to them forever...

Anna's incessant tears breaking her heart as Sarah tried again "please baby girl, tell your mother"....

"No, no no you no my mommy... you is all bad...jus like him... the one who hits me and cuts me and tries to hurt me in bad ways...but NO NO NO he no can steal that from me, he no prince, he cannot steal princess's precious flower, that Anna's gift to her prince and HE CAN'T HAVE IT, you can't make me give it to him, no no no....no matter how much you try to make me and hurt me..... I don't like you, Anna no trust here, you just wanna hurt Anna like before....I want go my mommy, want James an my Papa an my gable bear" she kept nodding her head as she turned and ran to her room crying so hard she could barely breathe.
