Harry's p.o.v

I can hear the sound of my heart beating faster as those words roll off mrs. Edmondson lips.

"You're time begins now." My feet stand glued to the concrete floor as I watch her and the guards exit the big door.

Arieth runs towards the door screaming trying to get to it before it closes but she doesn't make it.

It seems to get darker and all that can be heard is Arieths cries. All that can be seen is four cement walls surrounding us, trapping us in a square, and my heart beating faster and faster as the reality sinks in.

It was all a trick.. they knew we would try and escape.

They freaking knew.

My mind is full of many emotions, flying around. Anger, sadness, and fear.

I can feel my anger boiling my other emotions to the point there is nothing left but anger.

Arieth is the only victim of my anger..

"What have you done?" I whisper, my eyes stuck on the concrete floor.

Her cries and banging on the door stops, I look up at her and my eyes narrow and my fist clench.

"This is your fault." I spit. Her face falls to sadness.

"Harry I didn't mea-" I cut her off by throwing my hand up signaling her to stop.

"If you would've just stopped trying to escape, we wouldn't of been thrown into this early." I say, her face changes, She puts her hands on her hips.

"This was going to happen tomorrow anyways Styles." She says walking towards me, her attitude starting to show.

I don't back down.. I should because she was just wanting to get out of this as bad as I did.. but my mind it to clouded to think straight.

I chuckle, rolling my eyes and shaking my head, my hands fly up to my hair pulling at my curls, pacing back and forth.

"You followed me, so no this is not all my fault Styles. You also dragged yourself into this mess." She says continuing to stand there watching me slowly lose my sanity.

What is wrong with me?

I stop dead in my tracks and look at her, my dreams flood back into my mind soothing some of my anger. Her blue eyes make me let down my guard.

"I only followed you because I wanted to protect you!" I say throwing my hands up in the air and letting them fall at my sides.

She looks at me with almost what looks to be a caring look, she shakes her head and looks at the ground.

Finally I can feel my sanity slowly coming back as I start to think of all the things that just happened.

This was going to happen anyways.. I need to accept the fact that this is happening and being mad isn't going to get me anywhere.

I jump when the sound of gears grinding fill my ears, making an almost deafening ring making my hands fly up to my ears.

I squeeze my eyes shut as the terrible sound becomes painful, I feel Arieth by my side as she puts her head on my chest trying to block the noise out as well.

What the hell is happening?

It stops and I let out a gasp of air that I was apparently holding in, I open my eyes to find one of the walls have opened revealing many different pathways...

The Maze.

Arieth is still cuddled up to me, her arms wrapped around me in fear, I can feel her body shaking.

My arms instinctively wrap around her small body.

"Ari, look." I say.

Her scared wide blue eyes meet mine before she turns around to see the obstacle set before us.

"Oh my God." I hear her whisper.

All of a sudden two men walk out from the Maze making me pull Arieth closer out of protectiveness.

They are dressing in full body armor suits, they each carry what looks to be a backpack.

They stop about 10 feet in front of us and drop the bags on the floor.

"Good luck." One of them says before they both turn around and walk back towards the Maze and disappear behind a cement door, that is closed and I can hear the sounds of the lock shattering any sort of hope of getting out of this.

This is happening..

72 hours to get out.
