~Hayes' POV~
I ran downstairs to see what my mom wanted.
"Yeah mom?"
"Hayes I need you to watch Sky for a little while. I have to go to the store to get some new suitcases because ours are so worn out from travelling" she said.
"Yeah okay that's fine" I said.
"Okay I'll be back in a couple of hours" she said while walking out the door.
"Hayes play horsies with me!" Skylynn squealed.
"Alright" I say.
Sky runs over to the bin of horses and picks it up. She runs back and dumps them all over the floor.
"I'll be the princess and-" she went on a huge rant about what was going to happen.
I couldn't stop thinking about Kat. I've only known who she is for less than 24 hours and I already like her. I can't believe she'll be able to meet me.
"HAYES" Skylynn yelled, interupting my thoughts.
"Uh sorry what?"
"Huhh" she sighed.
"I SAID, I'll be the princess and you can be my horse. And you can be a prince too"
"Alright" I say. Hopefully this doesnt last long. I want to talk to Kat again.

~20 minutes later~

"Hayes I'm tired" said Skylynn.
Finally. It's been 20 minutes of playing with horses.
"Okay. How 'bout you take a nap?" I say, trying to be as convincing as possible.
"Only if you nap with me" she said.
"Okay. Let's go"
I'll just sneak out once she falls asleep.

Skylynn must've been really tired because she fell asleep practically once her head hit the pillow.
I quietly got up and snuck out of her room and shut the door.
I ran down the hall to my room. I hopped on my bed and texted Kat.

~Kat's POV~
The only thing i've done all day was eat. I couldn't stop thinking about Hayes.
And the fact he contacted me first.
I looked at the clock.
11:37
I've spent over an hour laying on my bed.
I heard my phone buzz.
Maybe it's Hayes!
I got off my bed and ran to my phone.
New imessage;
Hayes Grier
IT WAS HIM
I grabbed it and ran back to my bed and opened it.
Hayes: facetime?
I smiled.
Kat: sure :)
He factimed me about 30 seconds later.
"Hey!" He said.
"Hi! You must've been really bored" i said.
"Why do think that?" I said half laughing.
"You called me like 30 seconds after I sent my text" she said laughing.
Shoot. That made me look needy.
"Oh so you were counting, huh?" I smirked.
"No, I um nervermind. So when are you guys coming to Atlanta?" I asked.
"Next friday and we're staying until sunday" Hayes said.
"Oh cool! I still have to ask my parents if I can go. They'll probably let me" I said.

Me and Hayes talked for another hour until his mom got home.
After planning on how to ask my parents, I finally gained enough courage to go downstairs.
When I opened my door, I smelled mac n' cheese coming from downstairs. Mmm lunch.
I got downstairs to fimd my parents cooking.
"Hey mom hey dad. I was wondering... there's this meet and greet convetion going on next weekend and I was wondering if I could go?" I asked.
"Sure! The thing is, me and your father are going on a wine tour next weekend though. How will you get there and back?" My mom said.
"I could take the bus. It's here in Atlanta and it's only a couple hours" i said.
That was a lie. Magcon lasted all day, especially with VIP passes.
"Okay. I trust you. How will you get tickets? And are the expensive?" Asked my dad.
"They go on sale tomorrow at 8pm and no, their only $80 for both days" i said, which was also a lie. I just did'nt want my parents paying $160 dollars. I had $100 from babysitting money.
"Alright, sounds like a plan!" My mom said.
YES.
"Thank you!!" I ran over and hugged them then ran up to my room to text Hayes the good news.
