Chapter 1- "Revival of a King"

‘1 day from the Grail War’

"Come on N, wake up!" A young boy of about 16 slowly rose his face up from his desk in his History classroom. He looked around to see a classmate of his, Bella Lapaz, nudging his shoulder as the class began to empty out. He groggily got up and stretched wearing all black along with a black hoodie and his black hair slowly moved out of his face, as she hugged him and kissed his cheek. He smiled warmly and looked at her as she smiled back and waited on him to grab his stuff. He slung his bag onto his back and the two started heading out of the classroom. She had her arm around his and he just smiled and was still waking up, "you were knocked out and class didn't even start Arcuz," she giggled and he chuckled nervously replying, "I told you that's not my name love." He glared at her a little, she nodded and said in a small sad tone, "I know... my bad," he laughed and kissed her head and she simply pushed him away a little.

As they parted ways he walked into a boy a little shorter than him wearing a red sweater, dark red skinny jeans, with red and black Adidas. The boy scoffed and looked up at N saying, "Great... more retards who don't know how to respect clothing as well as shoes," he shoved past N and N stared at him as he disappeared in the crowd of students trying to get to their classes. When he sat down his phone vibrated and he checked it, it was from Bella and he replied;

“Hey 😘” - Bella My Goddess
“Hey Love 😘” - N
“So you gonna join?” - Bella My Goddess
“Yes... I might not be able to see you as much as I can right now... I will win it for us” - N
“Ok, if you don't come back I won't forgive you 👿” - Bella My Goddess
“😅 yes babe I know, don't miss me too much 😘” - N
“You know I will 😘”  - Bella My Goddess
“Stay safe while I'm gone babe” - N
“Ok ok, love you 😘”  - Bella My Goddess
“Love you too babe 😘”  - N

He put his phone away and the bell rang, everyone rose and did the pledge of allegiance and took a moment of silence. When announcements were done and class officially began the teacher began passing papers back while everyone was doing the work on the board. his phone vibrated and he figured it was Bella until it kept vibrating for 10 seconds. He quickly took his phone out to see 2 messages from her and about 5 from some unknown number. the messages from Bella read:

"N! HELP! SOMEONE IS BREAKING IN THE CLASSROOM!" - Bella My Goddess
"N PLEASE HE'S GOT ME HELP" - Bella My Goddess
He immediately became worried and read the messages from the unknown number:
"I have your dear Bella, win the Grail War for me and I will give her back to you" - Unknown
"If you do not comply with my demands either 1 or 2 things will happen:
1) I will kill her and mail each and every individual bone, muscle, and tissue of her to you one after another
2) I will force her to compete in the Grail War and you can watch your love die helplessly in the War" - Unknown
"You have 2 hours to decide whether she dies or not, I suggest you choose wisely" - Unknown
"And if you try and find me, I will kill her before you make a move against me" - Unknown
"If you decide to comply with my demands and fight for me, reply here, you have 2 hours and don't think about running away or I will your girl run after you without her head" - Unknown

N growled and tightened his grip around his phone, slowly cracking it until he was distracted by the announcements saying, "CODE 300, CODE 300, LOCKDOWN THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL LOCK-DOWN!" He heard Bella's voice screaming followed by gunshots and a window breaking. After the lockdown he grabbed his stuff and ran out of the school ignoring everyone who was calling his name. He ran through the front main doors of the school and looked around for a mode of transportation. As he went through his contacts trying to reach his friend who would drive him a girl with blonde hair and had a purple streak, wearing a bright orange dress with nice white laceless slippers on, stood beside him and made him put his phone down. A grey humvee came flying around into the school parking lot and screeched to a halt in front of them, before N could say anything he was shoved into the humvee and it sped off as the door closed. N looked around wildly until the girl cleared her throat and introduced herself, "I am June Silver, I have been in your school for quite some time and was tasked to investigate you. I know of your real name and your situation... Arcuz-" he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, "if you want to save your loved one I recommend you save him… but that’s my thinking, I myself, am joining too." She held up her hand to show him a shield with 2 swords crossing it, he sighed and asked, "so you want me to deceive this guy?" June chuckled at the question and replied sharply, "he's proven himself serious by now... we must tread carefully if you want to save her..." she stared out the window and N forced himself to say and ask, "ok... first of all don't call me by that name, it brings upon a curse and second, why are you helping me?" June smirked and looked out the corner of her eye and said, "King of The Hill, I am a firm believer in conquering one thing, but in order to plan on that you need to gather strength, allies, and power," N began twisting a ring on his finger in anxiety and June noticed it and marveled, "ooh what's that?" He looked at her like she grew a second head and scoffed saying, "a ring from my girlfriend, it's not a proposal ring just... a cosplay ring or so she told me it is the ring of the Lucian family..." June examined it and shook her head, "no... this is not some fake ring, I sense magic from it but it's faint... let's see what we can do" she smirked as N stared at her in question.
