Chapter Six

Cole's POV

When rehersal started I was starting to regret asking skylar to bring Shay, it was making me feel a little nervous to know that she could so easyily laugh at me if i messed up. I'll just have to work really hard. 

We practised the choreography for a few of our songs, learned the moves for a new one and called it a day. When we finished i went into the changing room to throw on a new shirt before coming out to see Shay sitting against the wall by herself. I walked over to chat "Hey Shay." she looked up quickly from her phone and stood up whenshe saw me "Hey! you did great today! Loved that move where it looked like you tripped into Dalton, that was a move right?" she asked sarcastically and my cheeks turned a light shade of pink "At least i didn't forget to change out of my pyjama pants." Shay showed up to school one day in Paul Frank pyjamas and we, our group of friends, have never let her down for it. "That was in the seventh grade and I thought it was pyjama day! You cant make fun of me for something I did when I was twelve!" she playfully punched my arm and I looked up at her.

"Shay?" she was still giggling "Yeah?" I worked up every bit of courage I had in my body "Do you maybe want to, I dont know, like go out with me? Like we could go to dinner or something I mean whatever you-" shay cut me off by screaming/giggling and hugged me "Of course I will!" she had the bigest smile on her face, I'm gonna take this all as a really good sign. I looked over to Skylar and gave her a thumbs up sign and she just smiled.

Daltons POV

I looked over at Cole and saw Shay hugging him. I looked at Skylar "What do you think thats all about?" I asked. She had a strange expresion on her face and she nodded "He asked her out." I was shocked , way to go Cole! Wait, I womder how Sky feels about all this, I mean Shay is her best friend. "How do you feel about that?" she laughed a bit then looked at me "Fine I guess, I mean, I like one of his friends so..." she trailed off and looked over to Shay who was all gittery and trying to talk to her, probably about Cole.

So, she likes someone.

She likes one of Cole's friends. Hmmm?

Who am I kidding? She wouldn't like me. She couldn't.

We walked out of the studio and went into a conferance room to do a Ustream. They're like a live stream that we do all the time. Cole even told Shay and Skylar that they could be in it. As we sat down and started the Ustream Cole introduced the girls as his sister and friend. The Ustream lasted about twenty minutes and after answering loads of questions we were all pretty tired. So we decided to go home, but just as we were leaving our manager came up to us and said that we were all invited to a dinner tomorrow at one of our sponsers resurants. It was going to be very formal so we had to dress to impress and, if possible, bring a date. Ughh, now i had to find someone in less than twenty four hours that would go to this dinner with me. Thats when it hit me, Sky! 

Soooooooo again SUPER short chapter but i felt like it needed to end there for a cliffhanger. I will try and update again tonight but I might go to sleep early. Oh the life of a teenager: Sleep or Internet? Its a hard decision.
