The Coffee Shop - Part 3

As days pass, I feel like I'm starting to have feelings for him.

I feel a strong connection with him whenever he is around me, it feels like as if I knew him for years. But I can't just believe this, can I? I've never had experience about this. This might just be a little crush, and nothing beyond it. He probably doesn't even like me back.

'DING', the sound came from my phone. "Hey girl!" It was a message from my friend, Diana. "Hey!" I messaged back. "Remember you were always complaining that you are single? Well guess what? I found a guy for you! I can set up a date for the two of you on Sunday.", Diana messaged.
"Oh uh.. I don't need to, it's okay" I replied unsure of what to do.

"It'll go well, I tell you! Just try it Skye. I think he is the guy for you." She messaged. I was pressured so I replied, "ok."

I'm not sure if I regretted that or maybe it's right. I don't even know if Chase likes me back, it might be awkward if I ask. I guess I'll just see.. but, should I tell him about it? I think.. I'll just not.
"Great! His name is Nick. He said that he agrees to see you on Saturday, goodluck on the date Skye!" Another message from Diana came. "Alright" I replied with nothing else to say.

Throwing off the negative vibes I'm getting, I brushed my teeth, changed clothes, sprayed my hair and went out.
I went to the mall to get some new clothes since I was wearing the same outfit repeatedly already. They are so comfy though!

So I went to the mall and bought some new clothes for me to wear. As I was shopping, Diana was around the mall too. "Skye! You're here!" Diana yelled as she went near me. "Oh hey Diana, nice to see you around." I said.
"Yep! You too. By the way, I've already set up the date tomorrow. You guys will meet up at the restaurant near the park, okay?" Diana reminded. "Alright, I'll go now, bye" I waved and left to go back to my house.

I'm not completely sure about the date, thinking about my feelings is difficult. I don't know if I should. But I've already told Diana I am.. so, I can't go back now. Maybe my decisions are good, or it could be the exact opposite. The future will tell me what's right I guess.

"Skye! It's me Chase!" Chase called from behind. "Hi Chase! What are you doing here?" I asked. "Oh, I was gonna ask you a question." He stuttered. "What is it?" I asked in curiosity. "Can we hangout tomorrow?" He asked me. "Of course! I'll see you tomorrow" I said and smiled. "That's great! Bye Skye!" He replied.

Im glad that I'll be able to hang out with Chase again tomorrow! It'll be fun. I yawned as I entered my home, and sat on my sofa. I checked my phone for notifications. There were messages from an unknown number.

"Hi Skye, It's me, Colin"
"I'm Diana's friend, she told me about you. Would you like to go on a date tomorrow?" The person messaged.
"Should I even reply???" I whispered.
But I told Diana that I would..

"Hey Colin, Sure! It'll be great :)." I replied. I mean.. I guess it's just one date right?.. "Nice! I'll meet you tomorrow at 11:30 am." He replied in an instant. Okay, I guess I'm going on a date with Colin now..

Wait..
Should I go with Chase or Colin??
