Chapter 1

{ Allie's point of view }

I've never thought I would leave Denver, my friends, my school, and most of all my best friend Rosemary. We've been best friends since we were about 5 years old. We've been there for each other for everything. But I had to leave Denver, I wasn't safe there.

Listening to Distance from Jack & Jack as we drove to the big state we all call, California. I wasn't so sure about moving there. But I had no choice to, the state of Colorado deported us to California to get away from my ex-boyfriend. I felt kind of bad for the rest of my family, they had to pick up and move all cause of me. Thoughts streaming through my mind as we drive in front of a hotel.

"Allie, were here." Drake said. Drakes my older brother, he's been there for me through everything.

"Why we staying in a hotel, I thought we were buying a house." I asked. "Dude, this is our house." Drake says, and laughs. "Oh.." I laugh with him.

I never thought I would live in a house this big. I'm actually kind of scared, especially since I lived in little houses my whole life. Let's see how the past couples months goes... But what I'm most scared of, is school. I'm a Sophomore this year, I'm glad I got Freshman year out of the way.. That was such a horrible year, we were getting pranked A LOT. But hey, who likes being a new kid? Yeah, not me.

I could get use to the house, it's so big but so comfy. My room is like 2 times bigger than my old room. But I'm glad I have my room settled, my mirror hanged up, my bed set up, my beautiful posters of Magcon hanging up on my beautiful light blue wall. My room looked like one of the Tumblr girls rooms! I'm in love with my room. I walked down stairs to the movie room, and we had a huge screen tv & has a lot of seats like a movie theatre.

I'm excited for school tomorrow. Cause' I really need some friends. Been in California for only 6 hours and I'm bored as fudge.

The next day... {First day of school for Allie & Drake}

"Allie, WAKE UP!!!!" My mom yelled. "I'm up, I'm up."

I hop in the shower for 10 minutes. I quickly get out drying my hair. My hair, lightish brown. Loose big bouncy curls. My hair was never this perfect, thank you to my hair stylist. I go to my dresser picking out an outfit to wear today. I have to dress nice for my first day of school, always make a good first expression right. I grab a high waist blue jean pair or shorts and put on a cute short sleeve shirt, with a pear of black boots. She took a look in the mirror added on her mascara, than her lightly brown blush. She took one more look in the mirror and headed downstairs, where her mother and brother were waiting. Allie reached the kitchen and ate breakfast quickly.

Drake hopped up and grabbed the car keys, and we raced to the Jeep. I beat him to the Jeep, so he had to buy me a raspberry lemonade mix.
