Hey guys so this was brought to my attention that I should talk about this I know most authors don't talk about suicide this but I think I should and I think it's a big issue now with that being said if any of you have a friends or someone with thoughts of committing suicide or just saying they want to commit suicide no matter how big or small it is you should report it to someone.
I have came across people who won't tell anyone if there friend is suicidal or is thinking about suicide because they think there friend will hate them and yes that is possibly true but think of it like this would you rather loose a friend or a life.
Every life is important and deserve to live a life they were meant to live even if they can't see it yet.
Always recognize the signs and I don't know how many of you guys were taught this but I was taught ACE. And what that stands for is A-Alert, C-Care, and E-Escort.
So if you have a feeling someone is thinking about suicide you ask them directly. "Hey are you thinking about suicide" it's that easy don't beat around the bush and hey if they say no then just leave it at that. Don't put the idea of suicide in someone's head if they are not thinking about it.
Everyone is a leader even if you don't think so. You have the ability to stop something like this before it happens. You won't believe how many people I have saved from committing suicide and it was so worth it. And until this day they thank me because now they have something to live for.
I will admit I have had thoughts about suicide and unfortunately I had no one to help me and so I deal all by myself and unfortunately a turn of events happened to me that gave me a good reason to keep on living. But that doesn't me everyone is the same and you should still get help if it ever comes to that.
I think I ranted on enough about this and I think you guys got it I hope so I'll move on. I promise the next chapter will be a little more interesting I just felt I had to touch up on this because it is really an issue especially for the LGBT community and I needed everyone to know the importance of this.
