Thinking that finally I will meet him, the man of my dreams, the man behind the mask. I thought not to make a show on what I was going to wear, but one thing for sure I was going to use the special made brooch of a single red rose tied with a black ribbon and a rose petal the initials "OG". Luck would have it, I was going to the Opera Populaire alone but fine with me. I was seated under Box 5, under the Vicomte de Chagny, but I noticed just before entering to my box, the police all around and inside the Opera Populaire.

It was a dark opera, but I liked it, so far when Christine came out and started singing I noticed that the owners Richard Firmin and Gilles Andre jumped and then one of the left and then came back with an officer and then pointed to the stage, and then he came out, my Phantom, the man that is always in my dreams, I knew it was him cause in the way he looked, the way he sang I knew in my heart IT WAS HIM

My thought always was " I don't know what he sees in her," Anyways that is when disaster happened. I felt such an anger that i never felt before when she took his mask off that i had a urge to get up to the stage and smack the living hell out of her, and then they down to his underground lair before the police had a chance to grab him. And then we had to run for our lives because when the Phantom and her went down to his lair he also dropped the chandelier.

I barely got to my carriage. Inside I grabbed my mask of the Phantom that I paid Madame Giry to get it for me and prayed for his safety. Before going to my home here Paris, I needed a walk to clear my head, so I went to a the park that was close to the opera house, and while looking at the beautiful moon I felt that I wasn't alone. Before taking a step forward my Phantom came out of the shadows...

I guess he knew that I wasn't going to run away, because I sat down on the nearest bench and was waiting for him to sit next to me.

"Madame Giry told me about you" "What did she say about me?" "That you were an American and searching if there was any truth about me."

At that point I blushed and said " I started to following you and your work ever since a friend told me the stories of you."

After a minute of silence he took my hand and press his lips against it and said "Thank you."

I was about to lean in for a kiss when all of the sudden Parker my manservant said "Madam, I think that we need to leave because I think that the police will soon be searching the areas close to the opera house."

"I think you're right, thank you Parker. And Parker can you see if you book all of us passages to Gijon as soon as possible. Please"

"Very well Madam." Parker said unfazed. Cause he knew the meaning when i said All of Us.

That being said, by just holding his hand I made sure he knew that he was coming with me. Once inside the carriage with both of my hands inside if his, he ask "Why are you helping me, why, after all I have done?"

With the moonlight, flowing through the windows of the carriage, I saw the sad face of my Phantom, and then the light hit the ring and then i knew why he was like that. I took the ring from his hand and just looked at me without saying anything.

By then we had reached the house, I knew that he wanted to say something but i felt it was still not a good time, all I said to him was "lets go inside." Always trustworthy Parker already had the rooms ready for my Phantom and myself and stated that 1st thing tomorrow will be on our way

"To answer the question that u asked me in the carriage? The world will never be the same without you in it." without letting him a chance to respond to my answer I said goodnight and went to my room. I could not sleep that much, I was worrying that the police will come for my Phantom. Thank goodness for Parker because he a cup of coffee waiting for me when I woke up, and also stated that once that I am ready that we can be on our way to Spain. I was surprised to see my dear Phantom so relax in my library, I so didn't want to disturb him but he looked up at me smiling and said that he is ready to go and that all of them are just waiting for me.

After a rushed breakfast, Parker made sure that all the luggage was packed and placed on the carriage. We had to take the long way to the port because the police was still look for my Phantom and always faithful Parker told the driver to do all his best to avoid the police, before getting on the ship, I had to pet my cat Marie just to calm myself down my nerves, and of course my Phantom saw me and told me that " you shouldn't have taken the risk, but thank you for everything," "like I told you last night, the world will never be the same without you." then I gave Parker Marie and gave my Phantom a kiss on the cheek and got off the carriage and got on the ship.
