Chapter 9: Before the adventure

"Hmm? Lillie what did you just said? You want to go and have an adventure with [Y/N] and his friends?" Professor ask in a surprise tone as Lillie told him that she wanted to go with you all. After the dinner, the both of you decided to spilt up with Ash and Serena and hence arrive at the current situation.

"Yes." Lillie replied firmly as she looks at the professor. The professor looks at you and then back at her. "What make you come to... no, I should say what make you decided to go with [Y/N] and his friends?" Professor ask with a deep interest as he never had seen Lillie having this much of a confident.

Lillie hesitate for a moment before looking at you. You smile to her and nodded. Lillie then look back at professor and said "It is because now I have found something important to me."

Lillie POV*

"It is because now I have found something important to me." I said as I look at Professor. "Important huh?" He said as he closes his eye as if he was in a deep thought.

"Is it [Y/N]?"

My face flush with embarrassment as I heard his name. "How did Professor know?" I silently thought to myself as I took a peek at [Y/N]. I decided to ask him.

"How...did you know?" I ask in a soft and embarrass tone. He just looks at me and smile. "It is because as soon as [Y/N] have arrive here, you have been looking at him all this time. You really thing I was not paying attention to my surrounding?" Professor said with a grin on his face.

I blush as I cover my face with my hand. "Arrgg... This is so embarrassing."

Reader POV*

You listen quietly as you watch professor and Lillie exchange their conversation. As Lillie try to hid her embarrassment, you thought silently "This dame guy...From the start he already knew everything and yet he stands at the side watching us as we try to get our feeling across."

"You are having so much fun, aren't you?" You ask in a slightly annoy tone as you ask Professor. "Who knows?" He replies as he smirks at you. You felt your vain popping out.

"I swear something I feel like you are a kid." You said as you sigh in annoy. "Well leaving that aside, [Y/N] ..." Professor said as he walks up to you and continue in a soft voice as not to let Lillie hear the conversation.

"Please take care of Lillie. You do know about her circumstance on her family, right?" He asks as he look at you with a serious expression. "Hmm?" You look at him with a confuse expression as you have no idea what on the Pokémon logic is he talking about.

He then pats on your shoulder and said "Well...I suppose you will know very soon." You look at him and just as you were about to say something, he then continues.

"......What is professor trying to tell? Well, I suppose by thinking about it will not help that much. When time comes I will ask Lillie myself." You said as you listen to Professor ranting about knowing what is a healthy relationship and how to use protection after he give Lillie an okay.

After around an hour of listening to his talk, the image of him as the professor has been destroy and you thought of him as some kind of pervert guy who apparently can't get a life. The both of you then walk out from his office.

You then turn to Lillie who face now was fully red. You sigh and said "Don't worry about what that pervert says. I won't do something that you don't like to do. So.... erm...let take our relationship slowly."
