Chapter one.
Kat smiled as she felt the warm breeze on her cocoa colored skin. She had dark black hair and eyes. Kat was on a cruise with her family. A small cruise, not a big one, only about 20 people or mabye more.
Kat walked around the ship seeing people. She saw two girls with exact outfits and on their ID cards for the ship they had the same last name. Twins? They didn't even look alike thought Kat.
The first girl's ID card said Maxie Torez. She had dark brown hair and eyes and pale skin. Most of her hair covered her face. She had full pink lips. She had a warm smile. She wore a long sleeve blue T-shirt with blue skinny jeans. With them she wore yellow vans.
The second girl's card read out Dazzine Torez. She had wispy blond hair with purple streaks. She had tan skin and a freckled face. She wore the same outfit as Maxie but had a red T-shirt with black jeans and vans.
Karen laughed at her little sister as she brushed her hair. Annie was trying to tie her shoes but was drastically failing. They were about to go onto the kids' deck and have a party. Karen tapped her foot until she couldn't take it any more.
"Oh I'll do it" she finally said.
They were walking down the hall when they heard a boom then a crackle.
"What was that" said Annie.
Karen didn't answer and scooped up Annie as lights started to flare lighting up the ship.
She got up to the top deck which was frantic, it was the kids side of the party there were only a few. She scanned the ID cards, reading the names.
Dazzine, Maxie, Katheryn, Cloen, Akie, Tosh and Brandon plus us, 9. The ship crackled in half like the titanic and they all got into the life boat. Somehow Tosh knew how to get the boat down in the water. Waves splashed them.
When the ship went down everyone's parents were nowhere to be seen.
