Angel With the Devils Touch.

Chapter One

"Sarah come here!" I heard my Mom yell so I ran out of my room and rushed down the stairs. It was Thursday, October 12th and my birthday is tomorrow I know Friday the 13th bad day to have your birthday on but it doesn't bother me it never has. I got down the stairs to see my Mom and my younger sister Mia ready to leave, Mia with a small light pink bookbag with water bottles in the side pockets but I had no clue what was in her bag, probably some snacks, coloring books, and her inhalers, Mom had two black bags that probably had cloths in them.
"Hurry up and pack your bag."
I walk over to the chair that my bag is always hanging on its a green adventure bag that I got for my birthday last year. So its perfect for this vacation, for my birthday were are going camping in the woods so we are leaving today and coming back in three days. Three whole days no Wifi, no video games, just you and mother nature, I don't know why but ever since I was a baby I have been obsessed with nature as if I was a part of it, I knew everything about it, all the birds names and sounds, and what they look like, and the wild berries, mushrooms that are poisons and which ones you can eat. I grabbed my bad and open the biggest pocket and grab four or five granola bars, two packs of pop tarts, some trail mix, I was also able to sneak in some M&Ms; then I open the middle pocket and put a small map, a compass, and a pocket knife; and in the front pocket which is the smallest I put two portable games in it and on the side pockets I put water bottles that were completely filled. When my bag was packed we headed out to the car, I opened my door and looked in the trunk I could see a few things like tents, a grill, and lots of bags. I take off my bag and set it next to me, Mia opens the door on the other side and throws her bag in the floor and sits in the seat across from me, my Mom threw three more bags in the back and closed in the trunk then got in the drivers seat and turned on the car,
"How long will it take us to get to the woods?"
"Um... About two hours and forty-five minutes."
"Then we better get going."

She said as she pulled out of the parking lot. She turned up the radio and I grabbed the card games out of my bag and and asked Mia, "Which one do you wanna play?" She pointed to the one on the right which was a Guess Who game but instead of people it was animals, it was her favorite game to play when we were stuck in a car or just sitting in the house while its raining...

About halfway to the campground it started raining, not sprinkling but full pouring down rain,
"That's strange the forecast said it wasn't gonna rain while we are here."
"Mom, it's the forecast its 99.9% of the time wrong."
We all started to laugh when I said that, soon the rain got so bad we could hardly see five feet in front of us,
"Okay now it's weird."
"Maybe it will be better at the campground."
"Hopefully."
My sister started tugging a my shirt I looked at her and she pointed out the back window. I put my face close to the glass and squinted at first I couldn't see anything I looked around slightly and saw a small figure in a shape of a standing figure, it was blurry and hard to see with the rain but I think it was a person or at least that's what it looked like. I looked over at Mia she looked frightened so I whispered something in here ear so she would calm down and not panic, having her panicking would not only freak out Mom but put her life a risk cause of her asthma attacks. The car started to slow down and we pulled over to the side of the road.
"Mom why are we stopped?"
"We are going to spend the night in the car, it's to dangerous to drive in this weather."
Me and Mia looked in the back and we came up with a great idea. We grabbed are sleeping bags and the bag with are clothes then tossed them in the front for right now, we climbed in the back carefully making sure we didn't break anything. We push everything against the trunk door and laid down the seats so they were flat, we grabbed two blankets and laid them on top of the flat seats then took the stuff that was against the trunk door and blocked the back windows so the strange person couldn't see in (we felt more safe too), we opened the three sleeping bags and put then on them blankets, then put the clothes bags at the end of the sleeping bags... The rest of the time we played card games, played games on the laptops (not like we could do much without Wifi though), and we also played games we made up... Soon we became hungry and the rain slowed down, we started bothering Mom until she told us what we were going to eat she told up their was a Huddle House near by, Huddle House was my favorite place to eat.
"Huddle House sounds good."
"It always sounds good to you. What does Mia think?"
