Hey father,
So we meet again.
It's been quite a few years and we're already at it again.
Don't bother,
I forgave you back then,
But I'm tired of you hating me for who I am.
You always have something to say,
But you can't make me change,
I'm who I want to be,
You always have something to say,
But you can't make me change
I'm finally happy.
Hey mother,
You're free in the end.
It's been forever since I left but it isn't the end.
Don't bother,
I'll be at it again,
I have a will that's strong and will not bend.
You always had something to say,
While he was yelling away,
Just rest easy,
You have nothing to say,
Everything is ok,
Please be happy.
Dear brother,
Your heart needs to mend,
You're growing up strong and never gave in.
There's no need to pretend,
I understand you're upset but I did what was best.
I've hit a redefining moment and started to realize,
The past is the past and it's pointless to cry.
I forgave everyone who ever hurt me,
And now I'm begging on my knees,
All I ever wanted was a real family,
So please follow me,
Please,
Love me.
