Just By Chance

Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Amy. I am 18 years old and have just recently been kicked out from my parents house. It's a long story really but basically my mum is an alcoholic and my dad left her many years ago because of her problem, now she has found a new husband and he hates my guts for no reason at all. So she listened to him and now I'm living with my friend Emily and looking for a decent job.

I decided that there is no more of "I will apply for a job when it is advertised on Facebook" I need to start looking and no excuses, I cant keep relaying on Emily all the time. I got my laptop out and went on the job website and was scrolling for a job that had a decent pay for what seemed like hours but finally I found one. A babysitting job. Luckily It's only a 5 minute drive away so I will apply for that and see what happens.

*A few days later*

I was in the shower getting ready to see a movie with Emily and my other friend Ellie when I heard my phone go off a couple of times.

*2 new message*

Emily: Where are you? the movie is going to start soon and you are going to miss it!! xx

So I replied quickly with: only just got out of the shower, shouldn't be long!! xx

Then I checked the other message, which was from an unknown number saying...

"We have received your application and we have arranged an interview for you on Wednesday. See you soon!"

At least I know they are little bit interested in hiring me!

I quickly get changed and head out to have a great night with girls while inside I'm only thinking about this interview.
