It was the first time Kim Dahyun to have a morning shift in the Bubble Tea Shop she'd been working at because she was still in school so she preferred working at night.

Today she insisted that she would try the morning shift as semester break just started and she couldn't be more glad to work with her friends that morning.

Son Chaeyoung was the only cashier on the counter as Minatozaki Sana was on her break.

The manager greeted her as she entered the shop.

"You seem cheerful today," the manager of the shop commented.

"Of course, ma'am! I had a nice bath, a nice warm cup of coffee, a nice walk and the weather's great! Couldn't be happier!" She grinned.

"Whatever you say, Dubu~" The manager, used to her personality, went back in the kitchen with a smile on her face, appearantly Dahyun's smile was contagious.

"Good morning!" Chaeyoung said as she stood beside her at the back of the counter, wearing a white apron, tying it at the back of her neck.

"Morning!" She chirped back at her friend.

"I'm so excited having you on my morning shift!" They both giggled.

Dahyun and Chaeyoung were friends even before they started working at the shop but got separated due to their conflicting schedules in school.

The first few minutes of Dahyun's shift was peaceful and quiet, just full of warm laughter with Chaeyoung and their kind manager who was not that older than them, but as soon as the hand of the clock struck 9:30, customers came pouring in like almost on cue.

The almost empty shop was filled immediately and there were two lines already waiting for their orders.

Instead of panicking, Dahyun and Chaeyoung approached the customers with big smiles and did what they had to do, the manager saw this and felt proud that they both knew what they were doing even being the youngest workers she ever had.

"Here you go, sir! Have a nice day! Please do come back!" Like a script from a film, they greeted their customers.

Sana was still at the employees' room finishing her break but was eager to see the commotion and so she decided to take a peak on the window that separated her from the actual shop.

Four customers later, the line still hadn't subsided yet and the customers just kept on coming in, Dahyu's first young man customer was taken aback in shock (and awe).

"Wow," She heard the guy said.

"Good morning sir, what would you like for today?" Completely oblivious as to why the man was standing there frozen, Dahyun asked the person in front of her with wide smiles.

"You're new here, aren't you?" He asked, eyes wide, lips almost curling up from its corners. "I haven't seen you before."

"No sir, but it's my first day here working on mornings! Do you have any usuals I should know about?"

"Uh," The undeniably handsome guy's mouth was hanging open and so he shook his head as if going back to reality. "Yeah, uh Chaeyoung knows it, I think?"

When Chaeyoung heard her name, she instantly snapped her head towards the sound, and smiled to see a regular.

"Hello sir Vernon!" She greeted the man. "I have your order made already. Dahyun, you can get it in the fridge, it's the one in the left corner, don't worry you'll see it."

"Okay, sure!" She affirmed with an eyesmile.

"Wait," Vernon held out. "Excuse me, I'm sorry everyone. I just have to do this."
