I've been awake for a couple of hours now. It's ten o'clock and my stomach wont stop rumbling. the lovely smell of bacon wafted up my nose making my mouth water and my stomach to do another round of rumbles. Deciding its time to actually get up and to stop thinking about how my life has just took a steep drop down on the rollercoaster, and open my chestnut door and walk out into the long creepy hallway.
I giggle at the sight of many childhood pictures of what looks like Raven and his parents. He has his hands in his trouser pockets and his overgrown shiny hair flops down just above his eyes. His boyish grin spreads a small smile across my face. He looks about five years old.
Turning a corner I stop and admire the beautiful marble grand staircase which curves as you go down. Realisation springs to mind at the fact that the flooring of this whole place is marble. They must have a lot of money for all this marble. I've never actually taken time to look at how beautiful this place is.
As I make my way to the first step and walk swiftly down the shiny cold stairs, I hear loud voices coming from the kitchen.
The kitchen is opposite the sliding doors that leads to the garden, so if you turn right when you come out from the kitchen you enter the living room and behind leads to another long dark hallway with the marble stairs right next to it against the wall with the door.
"Come on Raven, stop being so grumpy." A voice said that drifted from the kitchen to my ears.
"Yeah, otherwise that constant frown will make you age quicker." Another voice chimed in.
"And that's not attractive." Again, another voice snorted.
As I stop by the kitchen door, I notice Raven in a chair slouched over a small circular table in the corner with Tristan, Logan, Justin and Mason also each sitting in their own chairs with their arms crossed.
I raise an eyebrow as I nervously pad my way further into the kitchen. All chatter stops and I can feel the burning intense gaze of their eyes on me as I uncomfortably grab a plate from the bottom cupboard.
I turn around to be greeted by sizzling bacon. Oh yes! Picking up a fork, I stab the bacon and drop it onto my plate.
I turn and casually walk out and plop myself onto their soft sofa and start nibbling on my bacon, trying to saver the delicious taste.
Knowing that Ravens my werewolf mate makes it so awkward to be around him. I can't just automatically love someone. I mean does he expect me to just love him? I hope he remembers that I'm human, surely he wouldn't want a human for a mate right. Why do I have to be trapped here though!? It's like a prison yet luxurious.
A pair of feet snap me out of my thoughts and I look up to see Tristan staring down at me with a frown.
I raise my eyebrow at him.
"That's my bacon." He says bluntly staring at the piece of bacon in my hand at my mouth.
I smirk. "To bad." I close my mouth around the last piece of bacon chewing happily with a snug look on my face.
His frown deepens and a small pout forms on his lips as he looks behind me and glares.
Swivelling my head, I run my eyes over the others that seem to have made their way out of the kitchen to lean against the wall, smirking at us.
I raise my eyebrow at Mason who's bent over, slapping his leg as he belts out a laugh.
"Shut up Mason." Tristan mumbles, trudging back into the kitchen.
