"Melanie Andrews" called the receptionist. She was wearing a pale blue, nurse-looking outfit. Melanie got up and her fingers were intertwined with Niall's so when she got up from her seat, Niall got up aswell. "I said Melanie Andrews" snapped the lady. The receptionist's eyes shot up , then looking back down at the clipboard she was overlooking. "I know ma'am, it's just that it's our first baby, and I just--" he was cut off. "Fine, go." She waved them off. Melanie did a little silent clap and they made their way towards the doctors office.

"Hello Melanie, Welcome Mr Horan" greeting the young couple. She had long dark hair and rectangular glasses. "You can take a seat while I get the ultrasound cream. Niall, you can sit on that chair beside the desk."

Melanie's POV

I'm so glad that old hag let Niall come. She was such a bitch! Like what was her problem? "Okay Ms Andrews, keep still as I am going to do spread the cream on to your stomach area" I nodded my head. I looked up at Niall, man he was gorgeous. SHIT THAT'S COLD. I couldn't help but giggle, it tickled. "Look at the screen" smiled the Doctor. I leaned forward so I could see. "Oh.my.gosh" I felt tears swell in my eyes. I looked back at Niall, tears falling from his eyes too. "She's a beauty isn't she?" Asked Dr Coleman. I smiled. I'm having a baby girl. WE are having a baby girl.

Nialls POV

"Look at the screen" the doctor told us. I closed my eyes and held my breath. Then when I heard her click the remote button I opened my eyes and a picture of a little baby was in front of us. I looked down at Mel, who was laying flat on her back. She looked back as far as she could, Her eyes met mine and we both started crying. I know, I'm a baby. The baby was so small and precious. I was hoping for a boy, but I am SO happy with a girl. She is beautiful, not Mel, the baby. Well Melanie is beautiful too, duh. I can't even contain my excitement for our baby to arrive. Imma be daddy Horan!
