The Beginning

Victoria POV

I jumped out of bed as a heard my alarm sound signaling it was time to start the day. I turned my head and saw 6 o'clock flashing in bold red, so i got an hour and a half to make breakfast for my ungrateful pack. I signed in annoyance lets get this day over with, it also happens to be my birthday so if I'm lucky I'll find my mate and will save me but somehow I doubt it. Who would want someone this ugly and pathetic as a mate anyway.

don't say that you are pretty and special, don't let anyone tell you different  stated my very stubborn wolf , Sliver. I haven't shifted yet which makes me even more pathetic. Most wolves shift when they turn  sixteen , alphas shift when they fifteen but, not me I'm eighteen today and still no wolf. I have one though because we can talk to each other, the other wolves can't talk to their wolves till after the shift. I ran downstairs realizing they wake up in 40 minutes and I haven't started breakfast yet. I raced around making pancakes, bacon, eggs, and even salad for the sluts. Right as I put the last plate on the table. I heard everyone start running down to get some food, I took that as my cue to try and make a run for it, as I ran out of the kitchen I into something, more like someone. I felt sparks I slowly looked up scared to see who I was destined to be with, as I looked into his eyes it was like the world stopped, my face paled as my blood ran cold as I realized who my mate who was Cody flippin Woods also known as the future alpha of the Eclipse Pack. His eyes showed happiness and love but it soon was replaced with anger, disgust and hate as he realized who I was. Sliver whined at how he was looking at us "I Cody Woods reject..." he stopped talking for a moment and looked at me funny "what's your name". I opened my mouth in shocked, he don't know my name I've been in his pack my whole life and now he's trying to reject but he can't because he don't know my name, " Victoria Sage" I whispered looking down. He nodded signaling he heard me " I Cody Woods reject Victoria Sage as my mate and Luna" he stated with authority that made him look hotter. I whimpered as I clutched my chest from the pain of being rejected, Cody smirked and walked past me into the kitchen my brother Chris who is also the beta since our mom and dad died from a rogue attacked that they blamed on me, the third, Daniel his friends call him Danny sometimes and the sluts Hayley, Claire and the leader of the group is Lydia stood there watching the scene unfold.They all just burst out laughing "I can't believe you thought he would want you, you would never be Luna" Lydia stated smirking then everyone started kicking and hitting me calling me pathetic, ugly, a slut in the process they finally stopped to disappear into the kitchen to grab something to eat. I slowly got up from my crouched position  shaking slightly, I started limping up the spiral staircase to my room I've had it all the abuse, bullying, being a weak and scared little girl.

you and me both sister my wolf howled when I reached my room I packed the small amount of stuff I had and I got out a piece of paper as well as a pen and started writing my farewell letter.

Dear pack, brother, and mate,

I thought a pack was supposed to be family, especially blood, family don't treat each other with abuse and name calling . Well I guess I don't have family any more they all died the night of the rogue attack. Please don't try and find me I don't want to be found at least not yet if I want to see you guys I will come but, when I do I won't be the same shy scared little girl and I won't be back to catch up.

on that note I jumped out my window landing in the tree that is out in front of my window, I slowly climbed down till my feet touched the ground as they did I took off running as I ran pasted my ex pack border I felt the connection with them breaking, I kept going till I didn't even know where I was I stopped  running and started screaming at the top of my lungs feeling the worse pain I've ever felt.

Victoria you don't need to freak out we are in the middle of shifting Sliver voice said wait what I'm shifting? As the pain finally dulled I looked down and saw light blue paws and the world turned black.
