"Perfection." A voice breathes, everything still black "his faction. Valour" someone else says boldly.
My eyes slowly fluttering open I groan slightly "hello, Sebastian" looking to a strong looking male I sit up "W-what's going on..?" I mumble, my voice croaky "you was in a coma, you are named Sebastian and your faction is Valour" a woman with glasses says, looking at my hands I furrow my brows.

One year later

Walking through the dimly lit hall with my mates in valour "what was your test result?" I hear someone mention behind me, swallowing a lump in my throat I smile slightly "Valour" I lie through my teeth, after the first test i had skipped every other one hiding the fact I'm different.

Walking into the training hall, I glance around at all the new joiners "Seb!" looking to my side my eyes fall on Foxe "I know." I Furrow my brows at him, clapping my hands together they all look over to me "My name is Sebastian. I am your trainer. You follow by me, if you don't get past that red line. You will be factionless. simple." I snarl, gasps and mutters heard throughout the hall "Choose where you will begin training. We'll be watching" I finish, all of them hurrying off to pick a station.

Watching the hand-to-hand combat, I lean forward in interest when a small Male gets knocked to the floor, glancing to Foxe who's eyes are focused on the one who knocked him to the floor, I stand, shoving my hands in my pockets, I walk towards the exit - on my way to grab a cup of coffee or tea.

Returning after all the rookies have gone for dinner, I practice myself on a punching bag, swinging my right fist into the side of the bag I wipe the sweat from my head, rapidly and relentlessly jabbing and hooking at the bag, my breath ragged and unsteady, my earphones blasting 'Learn to fly-Foo fighters' throughout my body.

"Seb! Sebastian!" Shaking my head I take one of my headphones out, turning to look at the source "Jeez, you really hate that punching bag" Kayla sighs, looking back I sigh at the newly shaped and punctured training equipment "I was caught in the moment." I mumble, looking down to my already bruising and reddening knuckles, I grab my bag and begin walking to the exit "I wanted to talk to you about altruism" she says hurrying after me "I don't wanna hear it, Kayla." I say, glancing at her she stops in her tracks, I walk towards the mess-hall.

Sitting with Foxe, Rem, Luke, Ace, Axel, Helena, Olivia and Ares I ignore their stupid conversations, my attention taken by thoughts I didn't even think myself. "Sebastian." Shaking my head I look to Helena "What?" I mumble, her eyes darting to the four scientists stood at the door, everyone's eyes on me. Standing, I inhale deeply, shoving my hands in my pockets I follow them through the facility into the same room I've seen my entire life.

Sitting on the cold metal chair, they hook the pads to my temples "As you always do, good luck." A female scientist smiles.

Running through the field, my hands clenched, I feel the floor begin to crack underneath me, continuing to run towards the dying child, swiping her up into my arms I put my foot through the wall, the whole thing smashing into tiny pieces. Looking down the child disappears and I'm left in a dark room, a innocent altruism scrambling on the floor, a revolver in my hand, I grip It tightly "I'm sorry." I wince, pointing the gun to the woman, I close my eyes before pulling the trigger and immediately I'm awake.
