Wonho and I were relaxing together on his couch, watching a movie. I was slowly drifting off to sleep until my phone started to ring loudly. I quickly answered when I saw that it was my mom calling. "Gomi, please don't be mad," she said.
"Why? What did you do?" I asked. Wonho gave me a questioning look.
"You might want to come home for this." That's all she said before hanging up the phone. What could have happened that I had to go home?
"Wonho, I have to go," I said getting up, "I'll see you later, okay?"
Wonho nodded and I quickly left. I got home in no time. When I walked into the house, my parents were standing in the family room, waiting for me. "What's going on?" I asked glancing at my dad. He looked really upset.
"I heard about you being pregnant," My dad said, "What are you going to do about this?"
I sighed. I knew he was gonna find out someday but, this was too soon. I still didn't know what to do about it so, how was I gonna explain to my dad? "I'm still trying to figure that out, dad," I said, "This news is still new to me."
"How are you going to be a lawyer if you're having a child?"
I sighed. Now would be a good time to tell him about that. "I honestly never wanted to be a lawyer and I definitely don't want to go to law school. That's what you want me to do," I argued, "Do you even know what I really want to do?"
I could tell he was stuck when I asked him that. He never even asked me if there was something I was interested in. I barely even spend any time with him, since he's always on business trips. "You don't even know. I want to be an artist, dad. I'm no longer pursuing your dream."
My dad looked at me in shock. "You're telling me that you're going to have this baby?" He asked.
I never really thought about that until now. Abortion was definitely not an option. I could still pursue my art, with a child anyway. "I guess I am," I said.
"Who's the father? You can take care of a child by yourself," He said, "Does he know about this?" He sounded a bit more concerned than angry this time. That confused me. I told him about everything that happened and he listened to me quietly. It was weird to be talking to my dad and him listening to every word I said. It made me happy. When I finished telling the story, my dad sighed.
"Could I talk to this man?" He asked, "I would like to tell him something."
I nodded. "Yea, I'll bring him over tomorrow."

Later that day, I almost completely forgot about tutoring my classmate, Changkyun. I went to the coffee shop we were supposed to meet at. He was sitting at a table waiting for me. When he saw me, he smiled. I sat down across from him. "Sorry, I'm late," I apologized.
"That's okay. You're here now," He said cutely.
We started with studying. He was having trouble remembering the names of some of the famous artists. I gave him tips on how to remember them better. The rest of the afternoon went like this. When we were both about to part ways, a girl suddenly ran up to Changkyun and put her arm around his. She was wearing a high school uniform and her name was on her chest. It said, Shin Moon. That last name was just like Wonho's but, I thought nothing of it.
"Changie, where have you been?" She said, "I've been looking for you all day."
I gave Changkyun a questioning look. Moon saw me and frowned. "Were you on a date with her?" She asked.
"No no, this wasn't a date," I explained, "I was just helping him study. He's all yours."
I waved goodbye to Changkyun and quickly left. That girl was really possessive. She must have had a huge crush on Changkyun. After leaving the coffee shop, I went straight to Wonho's house to tell him about what happened. It was a little late but, Wonho answered the door. He looked really sleepy and he was shirtless. My eyes widened and I looked away. "Sorry, I'm so late. I had some things to do," I said.
"That's alright. So what happened at home?" He said letting me in. Wonho grabbed his shirt and quickly put it on. He must have noticed that I was embarrassed. We both sat down on the couch. I told him about what happened earlier and told him how my dad wanted to talk to him.
"I'm not sure why but, he wants to talk to you alone tomorrow," I said.
"Should I be nervous?" Wonho said.
I smiled. "Knowing my dad, you probably should. Especially because of our situation."
Wonho sighed. I could tell he was going to be bothered by it all night so, I ruffled his hair. "If it will make you feel better, I'll tell you what not to say to him."
He smiled widely and hugged me. We spent the rest of the night talking. We talked about a lot of things. I told him about my family and he told me about his. Turns out, he has a little sister that's in high school. I was happy to learn something new about him. It felt like we were getting to know each other more every day.
