Shikamaru and Temari have been doing a spring cleaning. They started inside, but it was time to start the yard work. Temari wwasn't making Shikadai do yard work since he helped so much in the house and wasn't getting into trouble with Boruto recently.
"Shikamaru, pull the weeds from the garden." Temari gestured to a patch of veggies and fruits next to their house.
"That sounds like a drag. I think I'll do something easier." Shikamaru denied his "difficult" work. Temari looked at him wide-eyed. Shikadai looked up from his game-boy.
"Oh-oh Dad, you're in for it now." He walked inside. Shikamaru was too busy watching his son walk into the house and regretting not listening to his wife to notice that Temari was in his face with a kunai in one hand, her other sliding gracefully across Shikamaru's face.
"What did you just say to me? You're. Going. To. Weed. The. Garden. Shikamaru." She threatens.
"Y-yes of course, honey! Is-is there anything else you want me to do?" Shikamaru stutterd.
No, thank you, Shika." Temari smiled and walked inside, Shikamaru, stunned as he walked over to their garden.
