A nine year old you walks through town, attempting to not get caught. You had recently escaped captivity from your current school, Darkly's School for Bad Girls. Your parents placed you there when you were five years old. Not because they were evil and wanted you to fall into their footsteps. No, your parents were normal villagers, neutral good, in no way evil. They sent you to that school simply because shortly after you turned three, you began to show signs of what they called evil sorcery. You, unknowingly as a three year old, were able to bend shadows, make them so your will, obey your every command. Weather it was, reaching for something on a high shelf, or helping you with a chore. Your parents, obviously being of the 'old ninjago' generation, believed you were a monster, and that is how you found yourself in that school, it was horrible. You were the only one there that didn't have an evil family. You were an easy target for the other girls at that school. Being extremely sensitive, your feelings were used against you constantly.
Right now everyone else was together in a group touring the town. You took that opportunity to slip away. You bolted when you realized that nobody was watching you. You hid in an abandoned house, and cleaned it up. In that span of time, you failed to notice the eleven year old boy who had followed you, the moment he saw you run. he watched you through the window as you trailed into the room that looked like it was meant to be the kitchen. as you opened the draws, you quickly realized that there was no food occupying the space. oh well, that meant you had to go shopping. only problem was, you had no money. with a sigh, you decided that you would tell some people in the village that you needed either food or money, without letting it slip you were a run away. Just how were you going pull it off? You had no, idea. as you pulled a cloak out of a closet that you found had some clothes you could grow into, a faint knock was heard at the door. What!? Oh no! Did some body follow her!? Dang it! There your plan goes! It's jumping out the window as you walk over to open the door. A door that, might I add, you can barely reach all thanks to your lil' nine-year-old Lego body. Hey, in retrospect, the boy who appeared on the other side of the door thought it was frickin' adorable! you gasp as you see who he is. The boy is literally Lloyd frickin' Montgomery Garmadon! None other than the baddest of bad at the neighboring school to yours, Darkly's School for Bad Boys. Lloyd! What was he doing here!? was he following you? Why? Did he want something? Oh no!
"Why hello there (y/n)"-
That's when you slammed the door closed. Nope! Not today! You weren't gonna deal with this crap! You just got here! There was no way you were gonna let him spoil it, nope! You started walking to the front room to get the rest of the stuff you were gonna need. Just before you left though, you checked through the peep-hole in the door, making sure that Lloyd had gone. When you couldn't see him, you sighed in relief and opened the door, just to get tackled to the floor by none other than the Bain of your existence himself.
"Gotcha!" he exclaimed.
"Ugh! Lloyd, get off of me!" you whine in between giggles.
"Sorry (cute nickname you have), what are you doing here in an abandoned house rather than with the rest of your school?" he asks you.
"Oh-um-uh." you stutter in front your best friend. Wait a minute...why are you stuttering?! You sigh in defeat. "Alright! You caught me! I ran away!" You huff out.
Lloyd frowned. He like his school, which was basically just the boy version of yours. He could never understand why you hated a place he thought was awesome. But, he was your best friend and he never judged you about it.
------
How exactly did he meet you? Well, that was two years ago. You were seven and one of your classes were taking a fieldtrip to your schools doppelganger, the Darkley's School for Bad Boys. The bus ride was just, the worst. You had the unfortunate luck of getting on the bus last, which meant the only open seats were towards the back. And we all know what kind of people sit in the back.
