Suffocating.
Leah woke up to find Billy curled up on her face, hugging it like a pillow. Her eyes widened in disbelief at the small robot, a tiny and isolated scream emerging from her.
Meanwhile, Aero was reading provocative stories online and Flash was watching The Yogscast on his side of the ships' screen.
But, Leah's screams weren't heard. Everyone was doing their own thing on the ship, and she didn't know what else to do other than panic.
"Ahhh!" Leah screamed. She pushed Billy aggressively to the opposite direction of her, her heart collapsing with nervousness and strange awe. She clutched the carpet of the ship and breathed heavily. What just happened?
With that, Billy pouted. His screen turned to a dark blue and he frowned as he got up off the floor. He glared at Leah uneasily and ran to the controls room.
Leah let off a sigh of relief and looked around, searching for Aero or Flash. She shivered for a moment, and felt a lurch in her position.
Before she could even flinch, she was dropped down out of the ship. Little did she know, the little shit known as Billy pulled the lever that would escort her out of the ship and drop her down to wherever.
Leah was so frozen in pure utter fear that she couldn't move or speak. She wanted to scream at the top of her lungs, but she knew nothing else would happen. Aero wasn't there to save her, nor was Flash or Mister 'Dream Man' Skywalker.
Her hands flew to her face as she fell out of the ship, gliding in midair. Her heart dropped as she looked down to see a dark green forest floor that would soon be under her.
"Oh..." Leah whispered. "I'm going to die... I'm going to die... I'm going to die..."
---
Aero put down his iPod Touch and looked around. "Where's Leah?" he asked, unaware of Billy's accomplishment.
Billy whistled with a robotic voice and ran quickly to his pod on the ship. He locked the door and stuck himself deep inside his bunk, giggling evilly at the thought of dumping Leah.
"Flash?" Aero asked. "Where the heck is Leah?"
"I dunno-"
"WAIT A MINUTE. The escape pod is open, and Leah was supposed to be leaving today, wasn't she?... Well, she'd probably tell us goodbye-"
He cut himself off mid-sentence.
"BILLY."
"Great. Now we're gonna just be floating around space and the sky without your imaginary bunhead girlfriend, and we're stuck with your piece-of-crap 'son' or 'nephew' or whatever," Flash uttered. He could hardly speak due to Jaffa Cakes stuck in his mouth at all directions. "Ugh, Billy! Fifth time this week!"
----
Leah grabbed her knees and pulled her face into them as she tumbled to the ground. Her body was pressed safely and gently to the ground, yet she expected to fall to her death.
She flinched and peeked one eye open. The sky was regular... No spaceships in sight at all. She let off a sigh of relief and looked around for a second, pulling herself off the ground and to her feet.
She heard a coo of a bird somewhere in the treetops of the forest, and it made her shiver. She nearly shrieked as the flapping of wings could yet also be heard in the far distance, as well as heavier and more intimidating caws.
She mumbled a word under her breath and clutched her bag tightly. She felt a nervous sweat begin to swell up on her face, her mind numb with curiosity and caution.
