The New Kid (Hayes Grier Fanfic)

"Ding dong ding dong" the bell rings as I gather all of my books out of my locker. "Ugh, I hate Mondays, especially at this place," I say to my best friend Amy as we walk to first period. I get to my first period and notice a new kid sitting in the seat next to mine. He has gorgeous blue eyes and beautiful brown hair that swoops to the side. "He sort of looks like that one viner."I think to myself. Amy and I exchange glances both knowing what each other are thinking. The late bell rings and our teacher, Mrs. Smith walks into the classroom. She sets her things down onto her desk and starts to talk. "Today we have a new student in out midst," and pointed to the new student. "Would you like to come up and introduce yourself Hayes?" Mrs. Smith asked politely. "Sure" said the new kid as he walked to the front of the room. "Hi, my name is Hayes Grier, I came here from North Carolina, I have two older brothers and one younger sister, and I am 13." "Thank you Mr. Grier," said Mrs. Smith. After school ended I walked out to my moms car and got inside. "New people moved in next door," my mom said. To me it's not that big of a deal because people are always moving in and out of that house.She then explained how there were 2 boys and one little girl and how one of the boys was my age. After I got home I sat my stuff down in my room and went to introduce myself to the new neighbors. A boy just a bit older than me with stunning blue eyes opened the door. "That's odd," I thought to myself. "The new kid at school had blue eyes and brown hair just like him." "Hi, my name is Zoie. I am your new neighbor," I told him. "Hi, I'm Nash. Why don't you come in and meet the rest of my family?" He asked me as he made a hand gesture pointing inside. "Ok" I said and made my way inside. When I walk in I see a little girl at the table drawing. "This is Skylynn but we just call her sky," Nash said pointing at the little girl. "Hi, I'm Zoie" I said to Skylynn. I then saw the new kid that was at school today walk down the stairs. "Who is this?" He said in a friendly way. "Hi, I'm Zoie from next door I just came over to say hi and introduce myself." "Oh hi, I'm Hayes." "Yeah I know, you were in my first period class today, Mrs. Smith." " oh about her class I don't understand one of the questions on the homework could you help me?" Hayes asked politely. "Sure let me go and get my backpack and I will be right back ok?" I explain and walk out the door. "He is my neighbor, Hayes Grier is my neighbor and asked me to help him with his homework." I mumbled to myself.
