More then your average summer

CHAPTER 1

"Emma, come on we're gunna be late!" Shawn says rushing through the airport.

"I'm coming cool your beans!" Emma responds with a smile. She's liked Shawn since they were kids.

Becca, Ella, and Jenny were meeting Shawn and Emma at the hotel when they arrived in California. Since they left yesterday night to come there.

Jenny's POV

I'm so exited to finally see Cam again we have been dating for 3 months now and Becca and Ella need to meet him and the rest of the guys. They've been so busy touring that they haven't gotten a chance to meet them yet, and well they have been fans of the boys for a little while. But I have known Cameron from Shawn because Emma is best friends with Shawn and let's just say it's a little obviously that she likes him.

Emma's POV

We are sitting in the car and all I can think about is if Shawn likes me. This is the problem with our friendship because I don't just want to be friends, well I wanna be friends but you know maybe more then friends but, I'm just glad I get to be with my besties again because it feels like it's been forever and I really need someone to talk to.

Shawn and Emma finally arrive at the hotel in LA. Emma squeaks with excitement at the site of her friends. Shawn starts to laugh when they pull in the girls run to the car to greet Emma and help Shawn with the bags. Emma and Jenny are cousins and that's how Becca and Ella know her because Emma is from Canada and the rest of the girls are from New York.

Emma's POV

When we arrive at the hotel I get to my room that I'm sharing with Jenny, Becca and Ella. I put my bags down around the area where my bed is. Shawn knocks on the door and I open it. "Hey guys I just wanted to let you all know that were just across the hall from you " Shawn says.

"Who are you staying in a room with anyway?" Jenny ask.

He laughs "Sorry Jenny Cam isn't in my room It's Jack, Jack, Matt and I"

I can see a smile on Ella's face she has always had a crush on Jack J but doesn't like to tell everyone because she knows that we are really close to them.

Ella's POV

OMG I'm so excited Jack J is going to be sleeping in the room right across from me. I need to keep my cool though because we all know that the girls are gunna give me a hard time about it at least Becca's crush is there too. She's in love with Matt so I really hope she doesn't say anything because I have blackmail.

"So Ella... Jack." Becca hints at me.

"What Ella likes Jack!" Emma says with a smile even though I know she knows I do.

"Which one?" Jenny asks as she comes to sit next to me on the hotel bed, I thought she knew too I guess not.

"Jack J!" Becca says smiling.

"What about Matt!" I shout back imediently regretting what I said when I saw the looks on Jenny and Emma's faces.

Becca's POV

She didn't, she wouldn't, she did, she told them! Ella my bestest friend of all just told them my biggest secret!

"OMG what else are you two hiding from us!" Jenny shouts causing Shawn to come knock on our door. Ella and I suddenly look at each other in worry.

"Is everything ok in here?" Shawn says hesitant.

"Yeah everything is fine" Emma says giving Jenny "the look" not to say anything. Jenny tends to have a big mouth when it comes to the guys I wouldn't be shocked if she tells Cam tomorrow or after they get here.

"Ok good, Aaron is gunna be here in like 5 mins and get the room keys for the other guys his mom is kinda in charge of us since he has a summer house around the block." Shawn says.

"Ok we will be here unpacking and stuff." Jenny replies

We go back into the room to start unpacking when we hear someone running down the hall. Matt.

Shawn's POV

The girls have been acting all weird since we got here I can tell this is gunna be a dramatic vacation. I just finished unpacking my stuff when I hear someone rush down the hall. Matt. I walk outside to greet him.

"Hey dude" Matt says.

"Sup," I says hugging Matt "it's been forever!"

"Yeah" Matt responds

We walk into our room and I give him his room key.

"How's Emma." Matt says smiling at me.

"Good, we are just friends Matt no more, no less." I respond. I don't want the guys to keep assuming that I like her because I don't, well, not like that.

Jenny's POV

"Matt is here!" I say looking at Becca. Ella laughs but Becca just blushes.

"Let's go say hi shall we." Emma says dragging Becca out of the room. Ella and I follow behind.

"Hey!" Says Matt hugging Emma and winking at Shawn who stands in the door way of their room.

"Matt this is Becca and Ella I believe you know Jenny already." Emma says.

"Hey Matt." I say as I hug him. We aren't as close as me and the other guys I don't think Matt likes me dating Cam.

"Hi." Becca says all nervous like. I can tell she is trying not to blush.

"Hey!" Matt responds eyeing her. I see a new couple!

"Sup." Ella says, she has a very chill attitude but can be crazy at times. "Hey." Matt says but continues to look at Becca.

"Ok well we will see you later tell us when Mahogany gets here." Emma says to break the awkward silence.

"And Cam!" I say to try and ease Matt into believing that I am not just dating Cam for attention. Which I'm not!
