"Can I ask why the Winter Soldier is in my tower?" Some man asked as we walked into the tower.

"Her name's Lea Morton. She's Steve's girlfriend from the 40's," the red head said and I instantly remembered shooting at her a year ago, as the Winter Soldier of course, but I still did it.

"She's HYDRA. You can't just bring a HYDRA agent in here because you loved her 70 years ago," the man argued.

"I'm not HYDRA anymore," I said but the man just scoffed at me.

"She was controlled when she was at HYDRA. It wasn't her that did all those things," Steve argued for me.

"Alright then, prove it," the man said, nodding at me. I took a gun out of my pocket and handed it to the man. Then gave the red head my knife.

"There. You're armed and I'm not," I said raising my hand to above my head. "I'm not HYDRA, I don't plan on ever being."

The man looked at the gun then to me then to Steve before throwing the gun back to me. "She better not murder me in my sleep," he said as he walked away.

I looked at Steve who was already looking at me, grinning. I smiled back.

"Looks like you're on the team. That douchebag was Tony Stark, by the way," The red head said, handing me my knife. "I'm Natasha, we meet before."

"Sorry about that," I said awkwardly.

"It's cool, not the first time. That's Sam and Steve but I'm guessing you already knew that. It'll be nice having a third girl to the team." Natasha said. I was shocked by her kindness but I didn't argue with it.

"Third?"

"Wanda. She's got telekinesis and mind manipulation powers," Natasha said waving her hands around. "There's also Thor, a god. Bruce, the big green guy. And Clint, arrow man." She said, smirking. "I'll let Steve show you some more." She and San walked away, Sam winked at Steve and Steve shook his head and rolled his eyes before turning to me.

"Welcome to the Avengers tower. I'm sure everyone will welcome you, Tony might take a while but he's a nice guy once you get to know him," Steve said and took my hand again, leading me through the tower. "Here's the lounge area, the kitchen is over there and there is a movie theater in the behind it. That's Thor, and that's Clint." Steve said pointing to a long haired, blonde man and a brown haired man, perched on the top of the couch.

"You managed to convince Tony that the Winter Soldier isn't HYDRA?" Clint asked.

"Call me Lea," I corrected.

"Lady Lea, pleasure to meet you!" Thor said shaking my hand with his ginormous one. "Let me fix your hair." He then spun me around and somehow managed to take the braid out letting my hair fall in front of my face before brushing his fingers through it.

"You're sure she's harmless?" I heard Clint mutter to Steve, he obviously didn't want me to hear but I got the same super serum that Steve did and while my female body did not allow me to look as big as him I was still very muscular and my hearing was still enhanced like his.

"She didn't want to do the things she did. Lea and the Winter Soldier are two different people, please don't bring it up to Lea though. She's still adjusting." Steve whispered and Thor started to braid my hair but instead of on the side of my head, it was on the back and tied it off with his red ribbon.

"There you go Lady Lea!" Thor said and patted the top of my head.

"Thanks Thor," I said, truly thankful that someone knew how to get that braid out and Steve lead me down the hall into an elevator.

"You can take the extra bedroom on my floor," Steve said as the door opened and he lead me to a door. Inside was a large room with a bed twice the size of my old one, there was also a door for the bathroom and one for a closet. "We are going out for drinks tonight at 8, you're welcome to come with. Natasha can help you find a dress."

"Thanks Steve," I said and latched myself onto him in a hug, he immediately hugged back.

"Of course, Lea," Steve said and kissed my forehead before setting his chin on my head.
