authors note thing

i finally updated!! after what, 5 months?? IM SO SORRY :( i know how it feels reading a story that you like but it's not finished and it hasn't been updated for agessss but i have genuine reasons why i haven't updated.

but first off, i just checked the reads and i have 3.86K reads. hOly sMokes, thank you so much for that!! i'm just glad people actually enjoy the story lol.

but back to business. i last updated in april and around that time, i had mock exams for my gcses which i was going to sit in june to july and i got my results back in april and guys, they were pretty bad 😅 apart from english which i got a A in (whoop whoop), i got D's and C's and E's and i actually managed to get a U on my computing mock 😓

so yeah, that was pretty bad considering i'm predicted all A's and i kinda wanted to turn things around so i had to sacrifice some hobbies i enjoy, like i quit playing badminton for a while and i stopped writing which was sad because i absolutely adore writing. plus i was working on another story here too and i've been trying to write a comic book alongside all this in my spare time but that had to go on hold so i could get my grades up rip.

i've also had some personal stuff to go through,, like sadly, one of my friends was killed on impact by a drunk driver two months ago and it was two weeks before our prom unfortunately.

and finally, i've had writers block for a while and i was just unmotivated so it's been a lot.

buT, i got my gcse results last month and i did really well so i'm very happy!

but i'm ready to update regularly now, i mean i'm only studying three subjects now so i can write when i can and i just feel better as a person, if that makes sense??

so yes, i just wanted to get everything out in the clear because i wouldn't randomly not update for that long haha. so i hope you enjoy the rest of the story!!
