"What's this", I mumbled. I picked up the pendant and trying to think when did I had this so I put the pendant on the table and left. Then, while I was doing my assignment, my sister knocked on my door and asked me, "Hey, is this yours?" Then I said,"No, I thought it's your's." She then said,"No, I never had a pendant before." Then I took the pendant back and closed my door. I then sat there, staring at the pendant and try to think who gave it to me.
So I decided to go and find out who gave it to me when I was younger. I went back down to the storage room to find the box I accidentally bumped into. I found it and I open the box, inside there are books, toys and a photo album.
I opened the album and flip through the pictures and there is one particular picture of me with the pendant and a girl which have the key with a necklace chain around her neck. Then a memory wave then hit me. I remembered the girl on how she looked like and what she likes. When I realised it, there is a strange feeling that this girl represents Katie.

So I took the pendant to school to find out is it true that the girl is really Katie. So I went to her house and waited for her to exit the door. She came out of the house and said morning to me.
When we reached school, I said to her, " During recess meet me at the attic there is
something I wanna ask.". She said, " Okay, sure."

So after school I went up to the attic to meet up with Katie. When I opened the door, she was already there. Then I took out the pendant from my pocket and getting ready to ask her about it. When I reach in my pocket, and took out the pendant, it slipped off my hand and fell in to the compressor (the thingy where the air-conditioner connects to it) and broke it in shards. 'NOOOOOOO!!!!' Screaming in my mind. Then she saw me near the vent and asked me what happened. I look at her with disappointment and told her, " Nevermind, it's nothing". I reach home and my sister looked at me, she asked me, "Why the long face?" I answered her, "Nothing, it's just that I had a bad day.".
