Dimitri Comrade Belikov's ROV

I was in the alley behind a 24hr pancake house. It was around noon now and I was gripping some kid by his t-shirt. How did I come to this? Breaking someone out of jail, running away from the law, threating to beat up a minor and on and on. I knew the answer. I fell in love with Rose Hathaway. No matter what I did to her, I never regret falling in love with her. As for Rose, after all I've done to her I bet she does regret us. No how matter how many times she says she forgives, I can't fully believe her, but every time I look into her brown eyes it's like a piece of soul is returning. I turn back to the boy now

"What's your name boy?"

"T-T-Tyler sirr."

"Why were you following us and hitting on my girl?"

"The girl she was with, I think I know her. The blonde one who was with the black haired guy. I've seen her before. As for your girl, I didn't know she was your girl! I swear!

I heard the front door of the restutaunt opening and closing. Sure enough there was Rose. She walked toward us a face full of shock and confusion.

"Rose what's going on?"

"Ask him his last name."

What's your last name boy?"

"Dragomir sir."

Well crap. This was Lissa's brother! And I just threatened to beat the crap out of him. I knew my control was going to slip. I had to get out of this alley.

"I'll get the others."

Rose nodded and as I walked around the front and whent to the booth.

"Someone pay the check and meet Rose and me in the parking lot."

I walked back out toward Rose and Tyler.

"Do you come here in a car?" Rose asked. We had taken the city bus and didn't want to relive that experience.

"Yeah I have my mom's Honda."

"Okay, we need it. Look were guardians and this an emengency. I'm Rose Hathway."

"You're Rose Hathaway?"

"The one and only,"she said.

"Look can we use your car or not? And you got a place we can stay for a few hours?" I asked hastily.

"Yeah, we can go back to my house." Tyler had excitment in eyes and I could see adrenaline kicking in. Yeah Rose had that affect in people. The whole I know this chick is crazy but I'm going to help her anyways thing.

As Tyler left to tell his friends he had to leave our group walked out.

"Rose what's going on?" it was Lissa who spoke with confusion clear on her face.

"To Tyler's house, he's an old friend."

Everyone but Eddie and me bought her lie. Before anyone could question more Tyler walked out and lead us to a very old green Honda. It at least looked washed with it's 'my child is a honor roll student' bumper sticker.

"O crap."

"What?" Rose asked, clearly out of patience.

"There's only room for 7 and there's 8 of us.

"No problem. Dimitri your the tallest so you can have the front seat to yourself and I'll double buckle with Lissa." I sat down in the front seat as everyone got settled in, about 5 minutes into the car ride Tyler started asking questions.

"So your Rose Hathaway, then you must be Dimitri Belikov, Lissa Dragomir, Christian Orzera, Adrian Ivashkov and sory I don't know you two."

"Im Eddie Castile and that's Mia Rinaldi."

"Cool Im Tyler -"

"So how far away is your house?" Rose cut him off no doubt to hide his name from Lissa. she would wait till we were at his house to tell everyone.

We pulled into a nice house in the outskirts of Vegas 5 min later. Tyler parked the car and we all get out. Rose and I took the lead, while Eddie grabed the back. We walked into the house and Tyler called out

"Mom I'm home! And I have a surprise!"

His mom walked out, a lady in her mid forties with grayish hair pulled back into a bun and jeans and an old tshirt with paint on it.

"O my, Tyler. Who are your friends?"

"That's Rose Hathaway, Dimitri Belikov, Lissa Dragomir, Mia Rinaldi, Adrian Ivashkov and Eddie Castile."

I swear I thought the lady was about to faint. I put my arm arm out to steady her, when I small girl around 9 comes running out.

"Do you say Rose Hathaway? Ahh!" she had a really high pitched scream and I did my best to not cringe. Rose looked startled but quickly composed herself.

"Hi, I'm Rose and you are?"

"Amy Westford!"

"Hi Amy," the girl runs over and hugs Rose. Rose slowly bends down and hugs the girl back.

"I've heard so much about you! Is it true you killed all those Strogi??? And brought Guardian Belkiv back to being a dhampir?!" she couldn't pronounce my name and I couldn't help smile at the child.

"Look for yourself," Rose said as she nodded toward me. The girl gasped and ran over toward me and stared. I looked down at her not sure what to do.

"His eyes aren't red and he doesn't look very scary! My friend Sandra said Strogi are really scary! He's not Strogi."

Rose smiled at the girl and bent down to whisper in her ear

Suddenly the girl was hugging me and not knowing what to do I hugged the girl back. Still confused at what Rose must of said.

"You're right Rose!"

"Right about what?" I really wanted to know what she said

"Rose said a Strogi wouldn't hug someone back because they don't feel anything but hatred. Right Rose?"

"Right Amy."

Lissa shot Rose a look and I felt my eyes roll. It's become a reflex since I've known Rose.

Tylers mom answered the phone

"Um, Rose it's for you."

Rose looked as though she expected a phone call. From the kitchen I heard her say

"Hey Pops."
